1. This ownership thing is a disaster. This is the kind of thing that can ruin a franchise. Its a very scary situation for fans of the Broncos.
2. The Bears game is going to be ugly. Based off what I saw week one from both teams, its going to be a low scoring close game. I don’t want to say its must win for Denver, but if your goal is the playoffs starting 0-2 can put a fork in that idea.
3. Yes Denver should go for Minkah. I watched this kid in college and at Alabama they described him as Nick Saban on the field, his mind was that good. He fits the defense perfectly as a versatile guy who can play corner and saftey. I guess its asking price, which the Broncos will probably balk at I imagine.

I do think they should go after minkah Fitzpatrick. It’s thee logical move for life after chris harris. Then our focus can be concentrated on the other several holes we have next year. If not minkah, what other trade contenders are there? A linebacker? Offensive lineman?
Lastly, what are your top three breck brews? I’ve tried strawberry sky and am ready to get some more, but have to drive 3.5 hours to get to a good selection.

We need to bolster the O line. I can’t begin to conceive of a luxury piece like Minkah. Find us a LT that won’t play perpendicular to the LOS please. Gumball is a hot mess.

I wish Fitzpatrick all the best. But if it’s me, we keep our draft capital for O line repair..

Well boys, it’s happening. My best mate and I will be in Denver for the Titans and Chiefs games – tickets at hand.

I’ll take a break from the terrifying thought that we could be 0-2 in a few Question is simple – how would you recommend spending pregame time. Tailgating? Downtown?

Beat. Bears. Battlestar Galatica.

Hey Triumvirate!

As always, food then football.

With the Pueblo Chile Festival next weekend, it’s worth asking: have you tried a slopper? An open face burger served in a bowl of green chile.

So something that has been bugging me lately: Conner McGovern and Dalton Risner. Conner (a guard playing center), while better lately, still struggles with in the shotgun with one of the tallest QBs in the league. Dalton, a natural center playing guard, is in a rookie year with the best o line coach. Is it worth switching the two? Are we just doubling down on an emergency position change and hoping for the best, or is this truly the best plan moving forward? What are the pros and cons to both options moving forward?

Thank you, and always love the content!

Sooooooo, GB is the worst
starting tackle in the league, right?

I mean they keep discussing his start line at the tackle with the most penalties in the NFL… So he’s technically the best at something…

Quick question/rant.. why are we playing our db’s so far off the line? Can’t get any form of pass rush going. Not taking shots down the field on O, not putting our best play maker (Lindsay) in positions to make plays, and penalties on every other play. Absolutely ridiculous feels like I’m watching last season all over again can’t score in the red zone. Trying not to overreact so early in the season but WOW..

As long as we have Garrett Holds we will never be a winning football team.
He is an offense killer.

Adam Rank was right. We really might go 2-14 ??

Cool ending of the game but even luck is going the wrong way for us.

Going to be a lonnnggggg season boys ??

Dagger.

Like a donk in had a whole post ready to go to celebrate a win. A poetic ramble about how the combination of my Homegrown shirt and my first Brek Brew of the day helped lead the Broncos to a comeback win against the Bears, but it was all for naught and I should have known better. I know its Week 2 and I know theres a lot of football left, but I also know how a 0-2 start can demoralize a team. Especially when it comes to the hands of Oakland and a finish like today. Talk me off the ledge guys.

I’ll keep this quick:
1. If the Broncos dropped Gum Balls, would any team even claim him?
2. If CHJ didn’t touch Robinson on the 4th and 15 play, would the clock have expired as the play would still be live?
Thanks, Gents. Now please, make me feel somewhat better…

Hey BSN family!
Just want to say OUCH. That was a rough end to the game. I’m sure Broncos Country will be all doom and gloom, but I want to point out some positives:
1. Justin Simmons. WOW. We need to resign him yesterday.
2. The younger players on the Oline should be proud of themselves. I’m truly amazed at Risner, McGovern, and Wilkinson and how good they looked.
3. RIP Mr. B. He deserved a better outcome than that.
4. Jackson also looked amazing. What a great Dback.
5. Freeman is legit. I almost wonder what last year would’ve looked like if he hadn’t been injured. Maybe pencil in a win or two more?
6. Sanders is back!!!!
7. For John.
8. (Sorry, this is starting to run long) Sutton is looking really good. I can’t wait to see Lock to Sutton in the somewhat near future.
9. (Last one!) If this continues, we’ll probably get to see Lock this season!

Overall, tough loss. I’m sure there will be comments galore concerning Gum Bolles, Chubb and Miller’s continued absences, etc., just wanted to point out the good that was out there. I hope Fangio doesn’t get skewered too hard, gotta respect how gutsy he was.
As always, thanks for all you three do.

Hey guys,
Initial reaction positives:

Thought Simmons was unreal, Flacco was calm and generally played well with food clock management and nice ball placement (mostly), Chubb played amazingly even without a hit or sack (wtf about personal foul), runnings backs look awesome!

Negatives:

Bolles – I’m weeping with fury, where is Von? He looks slow – am I missing something?
Playcalling was questionable at times and it took far too long to get 72 help or scheme away from him.

Love the work you all do, please help console what will be a tired and miserable British man on his way to university tomorrow morning.

Hey guys! Boy oh boy, nothing like turning it on with 5 minutes left in the game… Oh well, there’s always next week. My question.. I realize that Fangio doesn’t blitz all that much, but we aren’t even getting coverage sacks. Should we be concerned?

Welp, Broncos lost, Buffs lost, lost fantasy, lost QB1 madden in Divisional round. So that’s about how much weekend is going.

Didn’t get to watch the game but I’m gonna assume the usual, Bolles, fant and linebackers played poorly.

How can we fix this or are we destined to be number one overall lol

Still no badge.

All I can say is fangio is a boss and the guy we wanted all along. Going for the kill was awesome and made me extremely proud. As for bolles and even Leary, they make me feel embarrassed for broncos country and this offense. Its even embarrassing that we keep telling ourselves there isn’t any other options when every other team would trade or sign to make there team better, whatever it takes. I do not care who we pick up…ask yourself how many backups would do just as well, if not better than, bolles. Keep shaking that tree until a lineman comes out Elway, we already have our QB.

Its tough some days to be a fan. I loved how we were wrapping it up until we gave up the middle of the field. Also, how can we have two of the best pass rushers with no sacks. It’s tough.

I’m sure it has been said but how can we keep bolles in after that performance. Not 5 sacks but holds might as well be the same.

PS Wolfe was killing it

Appreciate yall as always, could use some more damn good beer right now.

Two things – first – Getting Mase can only be likened to the Broncos landing Manning. Well done BSN! I love the addition to the team even though he is lacking an iconic laugh like Zac’s. Secondly I am afraid I am killing the Broncos pass rush. I bought a Von Miller “Goat” BSN shirt and have worn it the last two games. I am hyper superstitious and I think my wearing this shirt has caused Von to lose his super rush power and become average at best on the field! I love the shirt but what am I to do?

Hello gents,

Okay. This is going to be a long one. For that, I am sorry.

I need clarification here, because from where I stand it looks like we won that game.

Let me explain.

The Bears got a penalty within the final minute of the game for 12 men in the huddle. According to the rule book (Section 7, rule 4) this penalty should have come with a 10 second runoff since the penalty delayed the snap. Now the Bears could have used their final timeout to negate the runoff but either way it would not have left enough time for them to have a second left for the final play.

My question is this.

Why was the runoff not enforced? Am I missing something?

Like almost everyone else the end of this game was a head scratcher to me. I went back and rewatched the last five minutes of the game to make sure I wasn’t crazy. The clock had clearly hit 00 before the play was whistled dead. I’ve never heard of a timeout being called before the end of a play like that. Not once. Not ever.

It’s over now and all we can do is move on, but if I am being honest here this whole thing has made me lose faith in the NFL more so than I already had. How can anyone trust that these games are being called fairly? After tonight I don’t feel like I can.

At least we held the Bears to 16 points. Garett Bolles held everything else.

I once got gum stuck in my hair as a kid. I tried to remove the gum but it held on tight. The Broncos have their own gum in their hair with GB. The Broncos should do what my mom did and cut that gumball out of their child’s hair and toss it.
#ChewedUpGumball

I believe the Broncos are in a rebuild. Assuming that Lock starts next year and he puts up average QB stats, what other moves should the Broncos look to make that will end this rebuild as soon as possible. And how long do you realistically see this rebuild lasting?

Y’all are the MVP’s of the Broncos, which stands for Most Valuable Podcast. Without you three, this season would already be a loss but at least we have you to keep us entertained. Thank you!

Got a quick question for u guys. Would it be a bad idea to have a mobile QB that can still throw if you look at Lamar Jackson I think he’s really improved in the off season he’s learning on how to use his arm but still keep his legs as an option? It really makes me wonder since are defense seems to practically disappear so far this season, should we have drafted Lamar Jackson in stead of Bradly Chubb?

Btw Kyler Murray is really impressing me he shows absolute amazing potential I just wish he would’ve been drafted by a team that can actually bring him success
