Z should get extra credit for the episode with the stick and the little girl. It was priceless.

It was absolutely awesome. Bad call by me not giving some credit. Great move by Z.

Would be interesting to see the average grade of each player at the end of the season out of the summary of all game grades

We did that last season in our postseason player reviews. I think we’ll likely be doing it again this year!

The only problem with that is that the grading was done by different persons from game to game and the criteria was not the same. Each grader graded based on his bias about how grades should be awarded and bias towards each player. A. D. might have given an “A” when A. J. would have perhaps given a “C” and/or vice versa. Also the criteria for an “A” for MacKinnon was different than an “A” for Bourque so what does the “grade” really mean? When I got an “A” in school it meant something about how I had done relative to the entire class.

What I would like to see is for each of you (Jesse, A. D. and A. J.) to write out your criteria for each letter grade and then all 3 of you grade each game (when possible) based upon your criteria . Then a mid-year or end-of-year summary for each of you would have meaning assuming you always held to your individual criteria.

Just my opinion, of course.
