AD, I totally agree with you on the Avs meeting the definition of insanity.
It seems to me other teams even with less talented rosters have made adjustments, found their identities, and execute well what works for them, while the Avs are just spinning around in circles, trying to find themselves and what works for them, not to mention executing well what works for them.
Case in point: Ryan Graves does well fairly consistently, and he says his philosophy is to keep his game simple and execute what he knows how to do well. It seems the rest of the team, with the exception Mac and Soderberg, are not quite there yet.

Woops. Somehow, I’d thought that goal was credited to Wilson.

I agree about Kerfoot – as much as I like his skill-set and Hockey IQ, I don’t know where I would use him on this team either. He’s a bit small to be a third line center, not quite a wing, not quite a top six guy. He’s really just a top-six prospect. Perhaps his best use is a trade bait.

doing same thing over and over??? They played OT completely differently with new players and different line combos. They almost made it all the way through to a shoot out. Just a bad luck deflection on a shot block attempt that 95% of the time works out just fine. The whole game was very much different than many of the recent ones.

Why didn’t Grubauer play? If that was discussed elsewhere I missed it.
