Just wanna point something out from the Fangio intro presser… I’m pretty sure Zac got the one and only “good question” remark from Vic’s Q&A period. OUR MAN!!! Represent!!!!
Also I’m so into the Broncos Mafia Shirts. Please, for the love of god, make this a thing!

Re: WHY DONT WE HATE PAT‽
If Pat Mahomes follows the RHA (Rivers Hatred Arc) I’ll be over him in 2020, hate him 2021-22, absolutely loath him 2023-26, hold a begrudging respect 2027-28, just plain respect him in 2029 through 2032 and finally cherish him in 2033 and following.
Did anyone else see von and Phil Lindsay at the nuggets game? When the game ended the stream I was watching showed jokic and von signing their own jerseys and exchanging them. I told my gf that all you need is mackinnon and Cargo in that circle and you have the 4 best players in Denver together. It was funny in like the 3rd quarter of the nuggets game it showed a crew of nuggets courtside employees cleaning up a spilt drink right in front of von and von was just smashing popcorn while watching them clean up (maybe) his mess… offseason in full swing. But how cool is it to see all Denver sports support each other?? Sucked swing Phil in a sling… get better bro! Vic is the truth! Love ya BSN fam! (Dater included no matter how rude I can be to him) 🙂

Hey guys, shout out to Zac for the “good question” at today’s press conference. I have to say I caught myself listening for a question from you guys a couple minutes into Mr. Fangio’s q & a. Before today I really had some reservations about the Godfather, but after watching the press conference today I am sold. I love what he had to say and seeing how he shut down teams like the Rams and Eagles had me excited. It is better to be excellent on one side of the ball rather than mediocre on both don’t you think? A question I have for you guys though, is about Kubiak. With all the time they’ve had after the season and since deciding on Fangio, what’s the hesitation in letting us know what his position will be? Do you think it’s Elway, Fangio or Kubiak that is unsure?

Hey, guys. I was writing our fan coverage and the story was about if we could have our pride back after a 2019 season even with Keenum undercenter. I decided to look the stats of the 2010 and 2011’s 49ers and see the impact of Fangio there. It was astonishing.
They had a statistical averaged defense in points (13th) and yards (16th). They had a bottom third turnover D in 2010 (25th). This was before his arrival In 2011 they had a 2nd best defense in points and 4th in yards, leading the league in turnovers. They overcame a 6-10 season and achieved a 13-3 and a conference game.
Onde could argue that they improved because of Harbaugh’s impact on offense, but they didn’t improved their performance. The only improved stat was points scored, which I credit to the turnovers on D that gave better field position.
I’m not arguing that we’ll have a 13-3 season with a conference game, but the similarities are exciting. The more I analyse this hire, the more I like it.

Finally subscribed after listening to you all of this season. My question revolves around one Dwayne Haskins. As a Bronco fan who is also a Buckyeye fan from Dayton, OH I’m obviously biased, but I beleive Dwayne Haskins is the answer we need to compete offensively in today’s NFL. I know that Good Defense beats Good Offense, but what happens when injuries break down our defense to where it isn’t as dominant. Vic talks about death by inches, then we shouldn’t play “good enough to win” offense. Let me run some numbers by you: 373/533 passes with 4,831 yds (70.0%). 9.1 yards per attempt (10.3 yards adjusted). Here’s the kicker 50 TD’s to 8 INT. Oh, he also had 4 rushing TD’s. To be honest, I know we can try move up to 2 and get him, but I honest think we can get him at #5. My reasoning: #1 Cardinals, #2 49er’s, #3 Jets and #4 Raiders all have new or established QB’s. #5 belongs to the Bucs, who I beleive are the first team in the draft who would draft a QB owing to the fact that Fitzmagic ran out of rabbits to pull and Winston is more up and down than NASDAQ. We have a chance to have a great defense with a great offense. I just hope Vic and John don’t
let this opportunity slip. BTW I’m going to my first Denver Home Game next year and am saving my still-wrapped #30 Philip Lindsay jersey for the occasion.

Hey there, were you missing me?
I’m an Italian food type of guy, love me some lasagna and bolognese pasta. Just FYI.
If there’s anyone who can make Keenum get back to the level he played two years ago is Kubiak. I’m really afraid he didn’t evolve but I also believe the sabbatical year he took could have been used to improve his offense and making it modern and better.
A man can dream, right?
Mr. T
Here are some True/False questions for you in this post “Vic pic” era.
1. Demarcus Walker will get meaningful game-day snaps.
2. None of Bradley Roby, Brandon Marshall, and Darian Stewart will be on the team by OTAs.
3. Only one of the following will be re-signed: Matt Paradis, Billy Turner, Max Garcia, Jared Veldheer.
Wrath of Jhan
Thinking about this Kubiak news, I’m torn. While I think it’s embarrassing that they didn’t realize until right now that they had differing philosophies, staff ideas, etc., it actually shows me that the Broncos leadership *FINALLY* realizes that they need to evolve offensively.
The tricky part now is potentially being behind the proverbial 8-ball in trying to find someone to fill the OC position now.

Guys, first and foremost thank you for the thoughtful, family friendly content. Lost are the days of the classy journalists. You have recaptured that rhetoric. Keep it up. Is it true that I’m seeing we might get Fangio and Munchak? Correct me if I am off base here but the best D play-caller in the biz+the best d-line coach in the biz+one of (no disrepect Mr. Munchak) if not the best O-Line coach in the biz… if the game is won in the trenches… game. set. match. give these guys a year or two to get their personnel in place and this is a pipedream every Zac can get behind. #ZacsFlyTogether.
P.S. seems like we are putting a staff together that has some staying power. Fangio at HC, Ed Donatell at DC (longtime asst.), Munchak at OL (family in C.O. and historically very loyal), Collar at DL (Bear Wrestler Extraordinaire), and Tom McMahon. All great coaches satisfied to be a part of a stable successful organization *touchwood*

Hey BSN Family,
All we hear about is how Elway isn’t done “swing for the fences” of QB leaving people to believe we draft a QB in the first round. It go me thinking: Elway drafts a QB in the 3rd or 4th rounds for the next couple of years. You draft a QB this year, have Case play and try to develop the young QB. If they feel he is not the guy, they draft another one in the later rounds. Wondering what your opinion on this thought is?

Funny tidbit: while listening to zach and stokely in the car to a party, my wife says “can you put on the other guys (Ryan and Zac!)? They’re more positive.” She couldn’t give a lick for sports so that was amusing to say the least.
My question: why all the hype on Sean Mcvay disciples? Not sure if you guys have observed his press conferences and interviews, but to me it’s clear this guy is a savant of leadership and life, with some offensive schemes sprinkled in. If you can replicate the o-line, qb accuracy, gurley, wr’s AND Sean Mcvay’s out of this world leadership and charisma, then and only then have you replicated the Rams. Can you guys give us your takes on the coaching staff from that perspective rather than just x’s and o’s going forward? I believe if they match Mcvay in leadership and charisma, then there’s endless hope. For example, Vance Joseph always came across like a C in leadership and a C in charisma. Vic? B+ in leadership and a C+ in charisma. I think his leadership alone will help us improve. Hope we get some charismatic coordinators!

Guys, I’m so stoked I don’t have to watch a Kubiak led offense in Denver. That is all for today.

TIN FOIL HAT TIME!
What if John Elway is so hell bent on winning now in part due to the looming CBA negotiations in 2021? From what I’ve read (ok, skimmed) it looks like it’s gonna be even worse than the negotiations last time around. We’re trying to maximize what we can do before 2021 because you can’t be sure how the league rules will work afterwards.
Elway would obviously already lean towards win-now, but this might be a justification for his posture moving forward.

We all assume that Fangio will be on the sideline, but he’s confirmed he’s calling the defense and he calls the defense from the box. Has anyone actually asked him if he’ll be on the sideline? Is there any precedent for a HC that was in the box?
Shaggymcloviniii
Hey guys I was wondering with the Fangio hire and his record of developing players, do you think he could make Walker a contributing player? Also could one of the linebackers could emerge as general under Fangio instead of drafting devin white at 10?
Wyo-Bronco
Hey RK and Z
Great content as always gents. I’m really looking forward to your coverage of the off-season and draft insight with Andre and AJ on the Draft Pod as well!
What do guys make of the rumors going around that Antonio Brown could potentially land in Denver (if he even comes up for a trade)? What sort of terms would the Broncos be looking at and is it economical considering the veteran presence of Sanders and young, developmental talent in Sutton and Hamilton? Personally I don’t see it happening but I’m still interested in how it would play out.
Thanks again guys, cheers!
NMbroncofan
DANG!! Elaway got Fangio AND Munchak!? That’s pretty some pretty impressive GMing! What do you guys think? Maybe John talked to Munchak in his head coach interviews about coming on as an O-line coach? Maybe?? lol
