Colton Strickler talks about what happened during the fourth and fifth day of the RugbyTown Crossover Academy. After that, Colton talks with former Florida International University wing Malik Bryant and former Navarro College football player Daytwon Sheridan about their paths to rugby, the camp, and how much they’ve learned this week. To close the show, Colton previews Day 6 of the RugbyTown Crossover Academy’s first camp.

Malik Bryant picked up rugby after injuring his knee during his senior year of high school in Miami, Florida. With his football offers off the table, Bryant picked up rugby at Valencia College in Orlando before transferring to FIU to continue his rugby career. Bryant learned about the RugbyTown Crossover Academy through a mutual friend and was put in contact with manager Peter Pasque when he earned an invitation to participate.

Daytwon Sheridan played football at Navarro College before making the switch over two rugby in 2018 when he joined the San Antonio Rugby Football Club. Sheridan saw some coaches posting about the RugbyTown Crossover Academy camp online and that inspired him to apply.
