Defensively, I think it’s important for us to tackle.

Field Yates tweeted out a full list of RBs scheduled to be free agents in the next offseason.
In addition to Phil Lindsay, his list has Derrick Henry, Dalvin Cook, Alvin Kamara, Aaron Jones, Joe Mixon, Kenyan Drake, Todd Gurley, Leonard Fournette, James Conner, Matt Breida, Kareem Hunt, James White, Tarik Cohen, Marlon Mack, and more.
How does the upcoming, loaded free agent RB market effect the Bronco’s plan of attack with Phil and Melvin’s contract situations?

My Boys! Happy Hump Day! Crack a Breck Brew and a mile high salute to the haters. Let’s talk Broncos:
A couple things: Mahomes, while excellent, is not guaranteed to be amazing every year. And the Broncos are building something great! Have confidence. Don’t be so afraid of those guys and trust our Broncos! I am a little upset seeing so many people bow to them already. We are the damn Denver Broncos. People don’t scare us WE SCARE THEM
My question for today is this: If Von Miller wins defensive player of the year this year is he on the Mount Rushmore of Pass Rushers all time? And would we pay him?
Thanks for reading!

Throughout high-school I was an offensive linemen in a zone blocking scheme. As such I spent a lot of time studying the broncos line. After high-school I started coaching, also the zone scheme. As such I’ve grown to know the broncos lines through out the years. I have made my personal 1st, 2nd and 3rd team all time broncos Oline.
First off let me say insane honorable mention to House Dwayne Carswell for essentially being an extra linemen. I know they tried that experiment with him towards the end of his career but I felt he should be mentioned.

Hey Broncos gang, I’ve made return to the comments section! I’d just like to thank you guys for working tirelessly for us and pumping out the content. And Big RK, I watched about the first 6 holes of the golf tournament, and I just have to say I had a blast and I hope it’s annual with Mose & Vic every summer. And man, the final verdict on Justin Simmons situation will have just broken, so I will be so glad to hear you guys cover that before the comments. Ok, to wrap up, 3 quick questions: 1. Andrew Brandt was on a Pat McAfee Show towards the end of June, and he said Von Miller said since he’s had COVID, he hasn’t gotten 100% of his wind back yet. Should we be concerned with this? 2. If the Titans sign Jadeveon Clowney, do they rival us for the best defense in the AFC? And 3. Isn’t this Jamal Adams news glorious, even if it’s ultimately a tactic to get the Jets to sign him? Alright, that’s enough outta me, go DNVR and go Broncos.

Hey guys, with the broncos likely not extending Justin simmons I think is safe to assume that the reason for that matter was the unknowns with how the cap situation is going to turn out next offseason and not at all with the player itself, especially after how he played last year and all the he means to this team in and off the field. So, seeing the chiefs extend two high payed players, my question is why is it that the broncos are so worried about the cap situation next year to the point of not extending simmons and the chiefs are not, considering they are projected to have even more cap space then the chiefs?

it’s wednesday so we gon get mad ?
did y’all see bill barnwell’s ranking of each team’s ‘weapons’? he prefaced the ranking saying contract value didn’t play into the ranking, receivers were valued more than TEs and RBs, top end talent was worth more than depth and it was for 2020 only
with all that in mind, he ranked the broncos at 14th (up from 31 this time last year) and ahead of teams like the 49ers, the vikings, the ravens and the chargers. sounds good, huh? but not when you realize teams like the GIANTS were ranked at 8th. but the thing that made no sense was the steelers being ranked ahead of the broncos
i’m sorry but 2020 proved that juju isn’t effective without antonio brown drawing the cb1 and a safety on most plays. even if you say ‘he didn’t have big ben last year, he’ll rebound’. having bad qb play didn’t affect guys like sutton and kenny golladay last year.
and i love diontae johnson but he’d be a wr3 in denver at the absolute best. not to mention eric ebron is what fant would be if he completely flames out at this point and doesn’t develop any further lol. fant had a significantly better season last year than ebron despite being a rookie and everything else that came with the broncos offense. and james conner had a few cute games in 2018 but nah

Good morning Bronco’s country!!! I haven’t commented in a while and wanted to take a second to chime in and thank the DNVR community for destroying my diet last week! After spending most of quarantine away from gyms and then having to recover for a month from a broken rib the week I started my workout program I finally get back in my routine and get my diet right and what do I get from the podcast? DONUTS!!! A whole week of donut talk, y’all are bad for my waistline!
But since we are on the topic I have to chime in, how is it that on a podcast full of Colorado sports fans nobody mentioned the Pikes Peak summit donuts? The recipe they use at high altitude makes them the best unfrosted donuts in the world, and I will fight someone over this! If you guys have never tried hyphen take the train up pikes peak and grab a bag and thank me later. I used to have a job that required and annual summit up the 26 mile Barr trail with a 50 pound pack in under a day and my favorite part was always carb loading on donuts for the descent, they are magical!
Also have to mention that I’m bummed I heard nobody mention Varsity Blues as one of the best football movies ever, it’s a classic.
Have a great week everyone, and let me leave you with a bit of trivia. Who is the player that scored his first sack against the same QB who later coached against him and lost in this player’s final game?

Yo zac and his boy(s). After freeloading for over a year I feel I have a big enough sample size to unequivocally say DNVR is THE Guy, so I ponied up. You got me. To be fair I subscribed during the draft but couldn’t comment until I was fully caught up and it’s taken this long. In this maddening time what a pleasant problem to have…..too much DNVR. Just a hey y’all for now to the boys and the DNVR fam.
FYI Hairy Bear is because of my facial hair not my manscaped region.
Stay safe everyone.

I wanted to start off and say…Jason Peters, 3 million, switching to guard for the eagles…AND WE WOULDN’T SIGN HIM. I think with all the question marks at tackle to just have the depth would have been significant. You could pull Bolles, or if James isn’t healthy you have a great veteran tackle. Unless there is more to it like injuries, I do not know why we would not sign him. What are your thoughts?
How do you think Cushenberry will hold up against Chris Jones? Riley Glasgow? Dalton Risner? We will have to play him 2 times a year still…never fun.
PS: Update, finally a homeowner in the great city of Lee’s Summit, MO. Home of our future and QB, Drew “Horse****” Lock.
Appreciate yall as always,
OGMVP

What if in the 2017 draft the Broncos select Tra’Davius White instead of Bolles? Where are we now?

Heya fellas! Pleased to meet ya, allow me to introduce myself! I am Colin, a proud 25-year Bronco fan and former DNVR freeloader. That’s right, boys… YA GOT ME!
Super stoked to be a part of the DNVR squad. I’ve been a consistent listener for 2 years (the pre-Mase days), and this is the ONLY Broncos pod I listen to. You all have such a great balance of educated info and wonderful humor (unlike those derpy Raider guys who hate Drew Lock because mmmmmm uh, um, uh, he uh, he just sucks). My girlfriend loves Zac’s infectious laugh too, btw. ?
Also! I love when you guys talk music, and fun fact, I happen to be the lead singer in an alternative-electronic rock band down here in Colorado Springs! We are called Ozonic, and we just released a single called Electric Blood, which is up on Spotify and all the other listening platforms, and our site (www.ozonicband.com). I’d love to hear what yall think of it, and hey, if you ever need any new theme music, give us a buzz! ?
Ok ok I’m done with the self-promo, and my future comments will not be this long. Just wanted to introduce myself and let you guys know how important your pod is to me, it’s gotten me through some trying times of self-discovery and lousy headspace, and I appreciate you all so much for it. Some of my favorite episodes were the late-night postgame pods from last season, where yall were delirious and laughing about everything. Please bring back the “bloop and a blast” reference when talking baseball.
Also… you ever think about Chad Kanoff while using Manscaped?
Hehe. Anyway I’m done rambling. Zac, Ryan, Mase, keep up the fine entertainment, and thank you for making the sports community thrive. See you at DNVR Bar sometime!

MY BOYS! While we’re still mad about Madden, I thought that I would share one of the greatest football and Broncos quotes ever. Following the Broncos’ blowout victory over the Raiders in October 1977, where Ken Stabler threw seven interceptions, Tom Jackson bellowed across the field at John Madden, “It’s all over, fat man!” The Broncos’ performance—and Jackson’s remark that day—were precursors to their triumph over the Raiders a couple of months later in the 1977 AFC Championship Game in what was the franchise’s greatest victory up to that point. This leads me to my question for today: What is each of your favorite moment(s) in Broncos-Raiders history?
MASK UP SO WE CAN HAVE A FOOTBALL SEASON! DNVRMY SALUTE!
