Hey guys, i had a question about one of our national media friends. Is it just me not seeing enough news or does Adam Schein simply avoid talking about the Broncos whenever possible OR could it be that he doesn’t know Denver has a professional football team? I bring this up because whenever something like free agency or the draft happens or if he does a prediction for breakout players or whatever he never mentions a Bronco or the team. Is this just a Schein thing or do many of these so-called “analysts” just think the Broncos are unworthy of conversation?
SqueakyBumTime
Hey Fellas! Long time listener, finally was able to get the wife’s permission to sign up lol. I really appreciate all the in depth Broncos news you bring to us! I’m stuck here in North Carolina, so it’s really nice to be apart of a well informed football family. Thanks for everything! Question for you, Between LT and RT, who are most worried about, and think we need to address first? Thanks for everything fellas!

Hey guys, Day 12 of the Jersey Challenge!
Closing out the AFC North today with the Baltimore Ravens.
I’m going with Justin Tucker’s #9 as I am a former Kicker/Punter myself #ForTheBrand
SqueakyBumTime
I would go with #82 Shannon Sharpe
domsiglow
I’d have to go with our guy Derek Wolfe. There is no way to dislike that man
K-Bird
Elite Joe Flacco.
Jk. Lamar Jackson!

Loved the draft and draft coverage! Haven’t heard much on our 5th attempt on a 3rd round cb though. Does he have a chance to be a solid starter this year? He seemed like a reach to me.
On LT, have some potential optimism on Bolles. He struggled with holding at home more than on the road – potentially due to fear of fan response. Could lack of fans at stadium (if it happens) take some pressure off him and lead to improvement in his play this season?
Mike Trout
I am a firm believer in – you can’t judge a draft till year 3, but boy I am HYPED. The DNVR coverage was great and RK has some great rocks glasses.
Burritochad and I talked throughout the draft and while watching the draft from my coach pales in comparison to broadway St in Nashville watching the Raiders make the Darrius Heyward Bey 2.0 decision was beautiful…
PastorRhett
Honestly, knowing that the raiders were going to get one of the big three WRs I think them drafting Ruggs was the best case scenario.
We already have to have a plan for Tyreek and Ruggs doesn’t bring any new dimensions to have to stop.
So cheers! I’m not scared of Ruggs.
Broncosfan93
Hey guys first things first. Great draft coverage! Loved every second and I’ve never learned more than I have about football than watching you guys talk about it.
Ok so here’s my question. Now that the draft is over and the UDFA’s are signed. What veterans could the Broncos look to bring in to finish the roster up? And Cornerbacks or offensive tackles that are available to pick up?
Locked_and_Loaded
Hey guys I just signed up after listening for quite awhile and I am mostly commenting just so you guys can do your thing.
One quick non-football related question, is Greeley really that bad? Ive lived here for a bit and doesn’t seem to bad to me. Thanks for all you do guys!

Decided to jump on the DNVR train. Happy to be rollin with you guys.
Great job with the draft coverage. Really nice to get your guys point of view than that of the national media.
No broncos question today for me but on the subject of mixing beers having any of you tried cola weizen. Its a wheat beer mixed with cake. Learned about it while I was stationed in Germany. Was definitely one of my favorites. Take care guys. Your coverage is much appreciated

if You had to be quarantined in a drafty, poorly lit and echoey Castle with any of the Broncos’ latest picks or Undrafted players, Who would it be and why ?

Hey friends. Parade? From 7-9 to SB ” Chubb ” 55 Champs? Let’s focus on getting over 20 points a game before we declare it’s a ” The Don ” SB or bust season in year # 2. You 3 are amusing. 🙂 Missed the live draft coverage, sounds like it was a hoot? GO AMERICA

I can’t believe that Zach said Rodgers hasn’t performed under an “offensive mind”…. Especially when you look at the numbers the year before Lafleur, the number with, and the numbers after with the titans. The points per game, yards per play, passing efficiency and the rushing yards are in favor of w/o Lafleur. You can do this with the packers as well. Zach just dislikes Rodgers.
MillerLite602
What’s up boys! I first wanna say that I completely agree with RK on the whole Bolles situation. He had a decent to almost good end of last season with Lock at the helm. Secondly, I just saw an article that if the broncos have mutual interest (which I severely hope they don’t) that they could end up signing/trading for Aaron Rodgers given the packers absolutely atrocious draft. Is there any meat to this rumor? If so I would love to here about and if not, that’s even better. I’m 100% sold on Lock and believe he is the future and I hope Elway and fangio see it the same way. Have a great week boys!
MarkITsnatch
Hey guys!
When the defense gets burned, what does Drew Lock need? Some Al O (sorry Not sorry for the low hanging fruit)
Here’s a silly thought experiment for you: post draft, Denver has enough tight ends to fill a baseball lineup card. Based on physique, acumen, injury history, etc, who plays where, and in what order would you have them bat?
MarkITsnatch
I didn’t realize Bug Howard was released, but he’s the ninth man on the theoretical roster
Drewlockerboi
Hey boys,
Rephrasing my question from the last pod. With new weapons, if the good ceiling is 4500 yards. Whats the lowest amount of yards required to make the playoffs in your opinion?
Thanks,
Drew Locker

I just want to thank DNVR for the outstanding draft coverage! From the special guests to the pick breakdowns to the live trivia, you all killed it!! If you haven’t subscribed OPEN YOUR EYES and do so!!

Hey boy’s so quick question that I’ll ask now and after the pre season too see how your opinions change. What is Denver’s points per game over/under 30 by the end of the season.

How are all of you doing after this weekend? You guys crushed it for 13 hours this weekend, and it was awesome. Appreciate you guys raising the bar every draft. I always look forward to your draft coverage because it’s so much fun. And I just have to say, I agree with Mase. I think we can split with the Chiefs. We actually got Jerry freaking Jeudy! And he just fell to us. But as much as we could all rave about the Jeudy pick, I’m a huge fan of KJ Hamler, and I think he’ll become a fan favorite this season. He is a DOG out there. Alright guys, thank you, go DNVR, and go Broncos.

OH MY GOD. John Elway has pulled off one of the best offseasons possible here in Broncos Country. I’m with Ryan; PLAN THE PARADE. We are finally getting some attention to our team in the national media like we deserve. I can’t wait to see what the future holds with this team and with the direction that we are heading.
While scrolling through social media today (because what else is there to do), I came across a couple of “Way-Too-Early” 2021 mock drafts. It looks like this upcoming draft is strong in offensive tackles and cornerbacks. Dream scenario, am I right? Think of it this way…
-Bolles doesn’t impress this year; we take a tackle round 1
-Bolles makes a case to be a good tackle; we take a corner (Bouye / Callahan aren’t getting any younger)
With what was said of Bolles in yesterday’s pod, I have some belief that he still can be the tackle we always wanted. But if this doesn’t happen, we have a good fallback plan to take a tackle in next year’s draft. I know that Henry/Hank and Andre will probably speak of this on the draft pod for the upcoming future, but I would like to know your opinions on this matter.
Lastly, I would like to thank you all for the amazing work you did on the draft coverage! You guys ROCKED the show and I loved having a Broncos perspective on every pick of the draft. Not to mention, all of the personalities of the show are incredible and WAY better than ESPN in my opinion.
Can’t wait to see what more awesome work you guys have in store.
Stay safe and keep succeeding!

Just realized how long my comment was after posting, you can cut off the last part if you guys want. I know you guys will still appreciate the love

Boys, boys, boys… It’s been a ride the past month or so! Thank you for all of your efforts.
I’m absolutely buzzing with our draft haul and I’m a big fan of doubling up on WRs and even more so that it was Hamler.
Thank you again and hopefully see you all soon in London!
Harry Urban
Lads, great work with the draft coverage.
A Non-Broncos question as they have all been covered by this great community.
If you were draft eligible in 2020 and had a choice of being drafted by either the Patriots or the Buccaneers, who would you choose and why?
Also,
Who will burn CHJ the most in our two meetings this season? Jeudy, Hamler or Sutton?
Triad_Bronco
Hey y’all
What do you call it when you mix milk into a hot cup of Earl Grey? Muti. That one’s for Zatch (I don’t half-ass misspelling names). I’ll see myself out.
God Bless

What’s up guys! Let me start off by saying the draft coverage you guys provided was top notch! I had 3 screens going while the draft was live (Broncos Facebook Page, DNVR, and ESPN)!
Just had a thought about Netane Muti. Any chance he could develop into a possible left tackle? Interested to hear what you guys think. Keep up the great content, appreciate you guys!
Kyan Roenigsberg
FoLks, would you say the trade back from 2019 with Steelers was a win? We Ended up with Lock, Risner, and Cushenberry. I’d say we definitely came out on top of that trade back!
Also, Kush and OJ is a classic!
Cgesusss
Ello boys. For some reason I have always had a soft spot for Wake Forest football and actually watched a decent amount of there games over the last few years. Keep an eye out for Kendall Hinton! Dudes a baller. Love the pod keep up the great work.

did y’all see that the chiefs cut shurmur’s son yesterday? let’s hope this fuels pat to be a little more aggressive with his playcalls whenever they play kc ?
can we talk about how ojemudia is a great fit for fangio real quick? size, speed, length, fluidity and ball skills. he wasn’t asked to play man all that much so his man skills are to be determined, but he excelled in zone. pff (i know, i know) had him as one of the best corners in this class when it came to throws under 3 seconds and throws where the qb wasn’t any pressure- both are good ways to project coverage in the nfl.
some people thought it was a reach but i loved that pick. kirk ferentz seemed to think he could play some safety too, so maybe some kareem jackson-esque versatility there
larrydennjr
Hey guys I have a ton of questions but outta respect to everyone I won’t go long and gradually get them in throughout the week …..
Thanks Ryan for your feedback on bolles … As I’ve shared with my L.A. BRONCO fam bolles lacks focus and the mentall capacity to be good majority of his mistakes are mentall it’s frustrating that all off season this far we’ve dealt with the disrespect of drew and this team and National media starts to give us our just due …..
Now Denver media is bashing the bronco’s lol ??? And to be honest it’s all centered around Kj Hamler they don’t like that pick …..
My question is …. Is he closer to desean Jackson and tyreek hill , or Marquise Goodwin type ….. I see explosion and speed and quick release of the line that can combat his lack of physicality and I see someone you have to account for on every play not to mention Drew was awesome with his deep ball with Emmanuel Hall in college and we didn’t have that dynamic to our offense last year ……
The second criticism I keep hearing is how much is Kj gonna even play and I looked at shurmur’s system he has 3 wrs with 80 or more targets …. And the rb gets 70 or more and the te gets 70+ targets …. There’s plenty of targets to go around so I’m confused about the slander on KJ …. I understand the pick and what it can do for this offense
Lovethunderdownunder
35 comments hey? Well *beep* me this is going to be a long pod. Sweet.
At what point does it become creepy watching too many Jeudy highlights? I need a threshold here.
That being said – you know what the most exciting highlight of any prospect was? Nope, it’s not Juedy breaking ankles or The Big Cush pushen his berries…… it’s Hamler EMBARRASSING someone in the slot, creating 3 yards of separation off the line with a sick move and going 93 yards to the house on a slant. Disgusting.
I’ve spent so much time talking about Jeudy – I might just be more excited for Hamler. Is that normal?
Albeeno Reeno
Guys,
Long time not talk as things have been beyond crazy. My question is… what do we do about punter??? Colquitt is available even if its for a year or 2.
Can’t watch anymore 12 yard kicks just makes me shudder thinking about watching ‘shankman” out there again.
Cheers

Guys, there’s something that’s missing in the left tackle conversation. I loved our draft this year. Hamler was my #1 target if we didn’t get a receiver in the first round. I never imagined we’d get Jeudy and Hamler, so I’m not at all upset that we didn’t get a tackle. But here’s what’s missing in the tackle conversation: we’ve got to face the reality that it will be tough to get a good tackle in next year’s draft at #32 overall! #PlantheParade
Okay, I’m kidding. But I do have a question–I’m struggling to see how each of these defensive players will fit into the depth chart. I know how these guys were evaluated in draft boards, but I want to know how they fit into the depth chart. Could you guys rank our newest defenders in terms of how much impact you think they will make in 2020? Just to put the relevant names in front of you: Ojemudia, Agim, Strnad, Tuszka, and Bassey.
OrangeBroncoUK
Hey guys, last pre season I thought out of our back up roster Khalfani Muhammad stood out and looked sharp. I was amazed he never got on the roster with injuries to running backs and the poor showing from Royce Freeman.
My question is, after the addition of Bellamy is Muhammad’s time with broncos likely to be over?

Each year after the draft you guys do a podcast on all the Broncos draft picks and your guys realistic statistical predictions from each with floor & ceiling scenario production. Do you guys plan on doing this again this year? Those pods are always awesome and would love to hear what your thoughts are on Jeudy, Hamler, Albert O, etc. Thanks fellas!
Let’s start with Trivia. With Jeudy at 15, the Broncos take a WR in the 1st round for only the 5th time in the NFL draft. Can you name the other 4? 2nd, it will be interesting to see Three Amigos 2.0. (V. Johnson-Sutton, M. Jackson-Jeudy, R Nattiel-Hamler) And to my question. Your thoughts on the youth of the WR room. Does Denver have the youngest WR room? How many years do you expect Denver to keep this offense together? 2 years before we must pay Sutton, 3 years before Lock and Fant, 4 years before these new kids. Now lets go win some Super Bowls. (As Pat Bowlen used to say, my expectations for the Broncos is 19-0)
Bristol Bronco Fan
Hey guys, great work on the draft, you were all amazing. I have been thinking about how our squad matches up to the Chiefs. Who do you think wins in each of the position areas?
QB
Receivers
Tight end
Running Back
O-Line
D-Line
Pass Rushers
Secondary
Special teams?
Thanks boys and keep up the great work.
Peanut
Peanut here. Now that we know Elway went Wr in rounds 1 and 2, my question is would you rather have had Jeudy/hamler or Ruggs/Sheanult? Say the board fell that way instead. Thanks guys!
Another Ryan
I have always been a bit of a uniform, jersey number, all aestheticphile when it comes to sports, football, and the Broncos. When it comes rookie jersey numbers, what do you think of my predictions for the Broncos’ most recent draft and undrafted free agent class?
Jerry Jeudy – No. 10
KJ Hamler – No. 13 for now (Trigger Warning for RK and his loathing of the NFL’s rigid numeral system for specific position groups)
Michael Ojemudia – No. 23 (Wore No. 11 in college)
Lloyd Cushenberry III – No. 79 (Cushenberry’s college number)
McTelvin Agim – No. 95 (Wore the single digit of 3 in college. He wore No. 91 at the Senior Bowl).
Austin Okweugbunam – No. 85 (Austin O. wore No. 81 in college)
Justin Strnad – No. 42 or 56 (Strnad wore No. 23 in college, which he cannot wear in the NFL)
Netane Muti – No. 62 (Muti wore No. 52 in college)
Tyrie Cleveland – 86 (Cleveland No. 89 in college)
Derrek Tuszka – No. 91 (Tuszka’s college number)
LeVante Bellamy – No. 32 (Bellamy wore No. 2 in college)
Douglas Coleman III – No. 35 (Coleman worse No. 25 in college)
Riley Neal – No. 6 (unless Jeff Driskell decides he wants that number now that Colby Wadman is gone) (Neal wore No. 6 in college).
Kendall Hinton – No. 2 (Hinton’s college number)
Zimari Manning – No. 1 (Like Jerry Jeudy, Manning wore No. 4 in college)
Hunter Watts – No. 65 (Watts wore No. 58 in college)
Essang Bassey – No. 34 (Bassey wore No. 21 in college)
As always, thank you for the great content that you continually churn out individually and collectively. Go Broncos and Go DNVR!
Drewlacca
Hello again, Gentlemen,
Thank you for all the wonderful coverage, not just during the draft, but also throughout this entire quarantine. What do you think about Mel Kiper giving us a C+ post-draft grade?! I understand that post-draft grades are mostly unreliable and you can’t accurately grade a class for at least a year or two, but, “OPEN YOUR EYES!” I believe Kiper said that the Broncos draft has too much bust potential… whatever… Other than maybe Hamler, I don’t really see anyone that has huge bust potential. Especially since once you get past the third round, it’s mostly a crap-shoot anyway.
Anyway, just curious what your thoughts were. Keep up the fantastic work and please stay healthy and happy.
PigTosser66
Great job with the draft coverage fellas. A+ Loved it! And I loved our draft as well.
I can’t tell you how happy I am that Elway has let go of trying to force his old offense on this team. You can win with that offense as we all know, but if a game doesn’t go as planned early then you are in big trouble coming back. And that offense is not what you want to run if you have a great quarterback or want to develop a great quarterback. It’s a “QB friendly” offense because you don’t need to have a great QB to operate it. You are operating with easy reads on half of the field In the passing game. The super bowl teams of the 90’s ran it but they were stacked everywhere offense and defense. The Hall of Fame QB certainly didn’t hurt but we all know TD powered that whole team. Elway FINALLY has realized that you can’t develop a QB in that offense the way you truly need or want to. As soon as Drew was decided on as the starter for 2020 then Scangs and that offense had to go. Elway has decided that the best way for Drew to become a franchise QB is to give him an offense that will develop the necessary quarterback skills that he needs to be great and surround him with the talent and playmakers to help him through the process. Welcome to the party Denver Broncos. We’ve been waiting for you.

Couple questions for y’all…
Does desean Hamilton actually benefit from the drafting of Kj Hamler? Their relationship from Penn state with Hamilton being KJs “big brother” could prove valuable for kjs development. This is especially true with their being no off season.
Also, wasn’t the final roster changed to a 55 man squad? I’ve heard several people (not just you guys) refer to the final 53…is that just a habit that y’all haven’t remedied yet?
Also, also… I can’t remember who you had on during the live coverage after the Hamler pick, it was either Ryan Harris or McChesney. Whoever it was was just killing the pick of Hamler and said that wouldn’t have happened if munchak was in the ear room, in other words he was hypothesizing that their may have been communication errors and munch couldn’t get his two cents in about Cleveland, any credence to this assumption or is it possible munch is fine with the tools he has? That’s kinda how I feel about the oline, as long as munch is stoked I’m stoked…
MileHighMike
Zac struggling with the pronunciation of this draft class is golden content that has me out of breath laughing in my car….. “ME-YOU-THAI!!!” Lol. But at the same time I empathize, every pick after Hamler had me asking “Michael WHAT?“ “Albert WHO?”. Elway delivered in this Draft a butt load of talent, tenacity and tongue twisters.
I will add my name to the list of all the compliments on the draft coverage. Knocked it out of the park guys. Loved every minute.
I’m praying the season continues normally because I really think the Broncos are in the hunt this time, I was on the bandwagon with Mase back in December and he can lead the charge. Not to mention the season will be full of shiny new uniforms and stadiums. Superstar quarterbacks with new teams and for the first time in years the AFC won’t be the same predictable, boring product of “who’s going to be the team that steps on the Patriots toes on their way to the Super Bowl” (this may be an exaggeration but you get my point) on that note I’d love a pod with your guys predictions on how the divisions fall in the AFC this season. You could quickly predict the standings now or do a pod later explaining your predictions in more detail.
More comments and questions to come.
I have spoken, MileHighMike.
Hardrocker
I’m just curious who you guys think the worst team in the AFC west is after the draft, personally I feel it’s the raiders because I think Carr is the worst qb in the division now.
BroncoNuggs
Was drew under a lot of pressure when he played at Mizz? Maybe hes not getting sacked as much and Bolles looks betters because he was use to it from the past four years.
SLC Broncos
First off. Shout out to Ryan for that Wiz Khalifa; Kush & OJ reference lol. Second, what do you project the numbers of Jeudy and Hamler to be?
