Wow! What a fun 3 days! Awesome coverage boys! My thoughts: I agree with a lot of your takes on the new broncos except one. KJ Hamler reminds me too much of Isaiah Mckenzie! For that reason, I hate the value. No tackle in one of the deepest tackle classes ever? I have to give the broncos a C in this draft for picking a 178 lb WR instead of what could have been the top tackle in a different year. Juedy falling to them brings it up to a B-, otherwise D. Also, it seemed like the draftniks were much lower on Cushenberry than the DNVR crew – any reasons why you think that is? I am typically an optimistic fan so don’t write me off as a hater. Stay healthy boys!

Haha, sorry guys grades all over the board.

Thank you all for your amazing coverage. I absolutely loved tracking this draft through the lens you provided. I agree with nearly all your analysis, except for making a run at Jason Peters. It seems like Elway is finally abandoning the band aid approach and really laying an offensive foundation that can make some noise. From Lock, the interior OL and of course WR and TE acquisitions over the last 2 years…everyone in a starting role has a chance to be part of the long term solution. Given that, why would we band aid LT, arguably the most important offensive position after QB? At 39, I can’t imagine Peters has anything more than a single mediocre season left, and then come 2021 we’re in the exact same position we’re in now…with a gaping hole at LT. We’d just be kicking the can down the road.
My real question is why didn’t we make a legitimate play for Trent Williams? Niners got him for a 5 this year and 3 next year…peanuts. He’s only 31 and his acquisition would be very similar to the Gary Zimmerman acquisition yesteryear. Trent Williams is a HOF type player that could anchor the LT position for years to come. All the SF beat writers are shocked the deal got done given Dan Snyder’s disdain for the Shanahans, so it’s pretty clear there weren’t many, if any, competing offers. If our offer was even remotely competitive I have to imagine Snyder would have sent him to Denver rather than to Kyle Shanahan. Sure he’s had injury issues, but for that little comp we’d have him in-house for a year before we’d have to issue a new contract or let him walk. Or we could always franchise him. Seems like a very reasonable price for potentially a massive reward. What gives?

DeSean Hamilton, Tim Patrick, juwann Winfree, and dionte Spencer. How many of these WRs are on the broncos final roster… If you say more than 0 who makes the team.

First time subscriber and always enjoyed your podcasts and finally decided to sign up! My question for you is, who do you believe had the most disappointing draft overall in the league? Looking forward to more great content!
Hey guys I was just wondering if you have checked out what the Browns social media/production crew has done with their behind the scenes series “Building the Browns”? The Cardinals have a similar show called “Cardinals Flight Path”. They are similar to Hard Knocks and give fans a great in depth look at what the teams are doing. Mase, I was wondering with your experience with the Broncos organization if you would ever see something like this made possible out at Dove Valley. Would love to see some of this content from the Broncos point of view.

BIG shout out to the DNVR Crew! Draft coverage was awesome! Great guests, great reactions, great work on bringing up tweets and videos as well as having just the right amount of hazing for Hank. Draft guys did very well leading up to this weekend by highlighting potential targets, explaining values and in my opinion sharing very accurate information on all prospects. You guys busted out so many written articles it’s almost insane. Best coverage of any single team in the nation. There can’t be another fanbase in the NFL who had better coverage than Broncos Country. Thanks a million.

Hey y’all
First and foremost I want to say that the draft coverage was completely incredible. Shout out to everyone on the backend with the graphics and production. It was a well polished product. Also big shout out to Zac and Mase for getting the articles and interviews out there so I could learn about some of these guys and know what we’re looking at. And of course RK (my brother from another mother), Dre, and Hank kept the whole thing entertaining throughout, especially while I made my drives Friday and Saturday night. Pretty pumped we got a Wake Forest kid (representing the Triad NC). I think Strnad could be a diamond in the rough. Just wanted to spread some love real quick, sorry for the long comment. I’ll see myself out.
God Bless

Thank you DNVR for the outstanding coverage of the draft. Not only did it look fantastic but the fact that it was Broncos specific was the best. You all killed it. I like all the speed we got but really wish we got a top LT. Hopefully Peters comes to Denver since we missed out on the Williams trade. Things are definitely looking up in the 5280! Go Broncos and DNVR!

Alright no cop outs.
Who wins in a foot race Hamler or Ruggs? Also had to change the username in Zac’s honor!
Samuelbissu
Hey guys, this draft coverage was by far the best thing you have ever done and that’s saying a lot, really was another level to watch the draft through DNVR’S point of views. Normally i have to watch the nfl network and they talk Broncos very little, so it was amazing to see every pick with a Broncos perspective.
I liked two things about this year’s draft.
1 that they are ALL IN with Drew
2 the kind of guys Elway is bringing in, very good players but better people. i think this makes a huge difference in the locker room and establishing a winning culture.
One question. Why the media has forgotten Bryce Calahan? no one is talking about him being the #2 cb, last year some of you had him as the player to impress before he got hurt, do you think he can be that player this year?
Thanks and keep safe
Orange and Blue coming for YOU
Soooooo. How do you feel about that batted pass now! Everything works itself out unless you’re the raiders and you end the season with a loss AND pick the third wide receiver on Alabama while the NUMBER ONE falls to us! Don’t get me wrong, i would have loved to have Ruggs but over Jerry? Nahhh. Love the draft, love the pod, keep it up!
TrueChampFan24
Couple things.
Yall should be proud of that draft coverage! Amazing and so glad i tuned in here and there and so thankful im part of this community.
Also super pumped about the Tuszka pick. I did my own little piece about him on my podcast and outlined a couple teams that should take a late round flyer on him, Denver being one! I was both so happy we drafted him but proud that i somehow nailed him going in the 7th to us!
Yall, plus Dre and Henry really have helped me understand more about football and its really helped with my project!
Love yall! And for the 1st time on this pod… I really applaud Elway for what hes done.
Iceman
Hey friends. I liked the haul but I would have preferred a tackle, kicker & punter over the 5 roster depth players they chose! On getting a tackle, they missed out on the top 4, so I give them a pass. They should sign Peters or go with the UDFA Hunter Watts. The safety they signed as an UDFA was smart!!! GO AMERICA/BRONCOS/LOCK/DNVR

Hey guys!
Garrett Bolles is like a conductor with a fermata: he just holds.
Anyway, this was an incredible draft. This is the first time in years where I’m genuinely more excited about the offense than the defense. I know we’ve talked ad nauseum about the left tackle situation, but something hit me yesterday. Is there a chance that not taking a tackle from a stout class is Mike Munchak’s call? Does he want one more year to work with Bolles? Maybe he wants an extra year with a physically gifted athlete that just doesn’t compute well upstairs. Or the team just wants to serve out the contract and be done with it.
Queen City Bronco CLT
I’ve gotta say again, excellent coverage of the draft by the entire DNVR crew. It was absolutely incredible to watch the entire draft and hear analysis from a Broncos perspective. Thank you all for such a great experience.
I’m so excited we got, in my opinion, the top receiver and the top center in the draft. As weird as it may sound, I think I’m more excited about drafting Cushenberry. The potential stability at the anchor of the offense with Lock and Cushenberry growing together gives me so much hope. That being said, are there any concerns from your perspective with having such a young offense?
SoundGuy
Love what the Broncos did in the draft. Not only did we add dynamic offensive weapons but, Vic now has a working model of the Chief’s offense. The war games Vic and Shurmur can play will better prepare us for the Chiefs.
dan birk
hey guys- first of all, thank you for all the draft coverage!!
what nfl player does hamler remind y’all of? i’ve seen desean jackson, tavon austin (probably worst case scenario there), marquise brown, tyler lockett and ty hilton. the player he reminds me the most of is mecole hardman- but a more refined version. hardman was a defensive back convert at georgia but like hamler struggled with drops in his final year. both excellent after the catch and have fantastic agility but hamler is the better overall prospect imo. if he ends up being a hardman-esque player is that a successful draft pick in y’alls opinion?
Kyan Roenigsberg
Here’s the thing, I loved the draft!! We were able to get Jerry Judy, and we didn’t even have to trade up to 10! Great value in day 2 picks as well. However, How do you guys feel about Ruggs to Raiders? Playing against Hill and Ruggs four times a year, yikes…
Thanks for the great draft coverage gents!
Nashville Joey
Hey guys, just wanted to say thanks again for the great coverage this weekend on the draft. Absolutely loved our draft and cannot WAIT to see what our offense will be like! Mase, started reading your book again…..passing some quarantine hours and getting me fired up for the season. Do y’all think there is a decent chance Elway will make a play for Peters? That would make my 2020 NFL Draft joy complete. Keep up the great work boys, getting me through this crazy time!

STANDING OVATION !!!!! THAT WAS SOOOO AMAZING. How you guys covered the draft !!! I felt like anything and everything on my Twitter involving the bronco’s I got to see on one show well done …well done gentleman !!!( MASE I WANT THAT SHIRT U HAD ON DAY ONE ) LOL….. So first of all I realized and accepted I’m a “Homer” because out of all this amazing draft class we have ? I can’t wait to get a NENANE MUTI JERSEY HE IS MY FAVORITE BRONCO OF THIS CLASS…… Andre Simone talked a lot about him but I kept ignoring it because he wasn’t high on a lot of draft boards when I saw the tape I had to stop the tape lol it should be illegal what Muti does !!! I mean he’s not pancaking guys he’s bullying and pushing guys 3-5 yards out of the way this dude is sooooo strong omg I’m a huge Muti fan I want so badly for him to work out .
There’s sooooo many questions I’m not gonna overwhelm you however side bar …..
I want to say r.i.p. to the rest of the following individuals free time …Paul Gunther, Steve Spagnolia , and Gus Bradley good luck game planning against these guys
And I want to say congratulations to Pay Shurmur u guys were right about poor Scangerello …. Shurmur has never had this much talent on offense probably ever …. I mean let’s be real he rosterbated after the draft I Kno he did he had to lol ……awwe man
Anyways my question is the burning question everyone’s had since getting more informed about Muti (Ryan brace urself u may not like it ) but if Muti works out ??? Can we move Risner to Rt next year and dump Juwan James ridiculous contract ??? How do you feel about that ???
TKFreese
What’s up DNVR! First, this weekend was awesome not just because I loved the draft but y’all’s coverage was incredible. Two quick things, 1. Broncos country and DNVRmy (is that how we’re spelling that?) can we please stop with the bolles hate, I get it I get it, he holds, he sucks, waste of a first pick, blah blah blah, but mike Munchak, one of the best if not the best O-line coaches didn’t draft another OT, meaning he is comfortable with bolles or at least has a plan. Let’s put our trust in him, everywhere I see when someone is talking about all the weapons we just added on offense multiple people are tearing it down by saying “well 72 is just gonna ruin it” come on!! It’s one guy, let’s give a chance to prove us wrong, I know his had chances but we got our QB, and now some shiny new toys for him! Let’s do this! Also one more thing, how did Albert Okwuegbunam fall all the way to the fourth round, when Noah Fant was drafted first round last year? Albert O is slightly bigger and faster, and has more yards, TDS and receptions in college? What did he do to not go earlier? Is the tape that much worse then Fants? Btw not disrespecting Fant, love him, they just seem close to the same, so why so different on draft day?
Another Ryan
Kudos, RK, Zac, Mase, and the entire DNVR crew for the superb Broncos’ pre-draft, draft, and post-draft coverage! By and large, I think that Broncos had a great draft in who they were able to select while just letting the board develop in front of them. My favorite selections were Jerry Jeudy, Lloyd Cushenberry III, and Netane Muti, particularly because they were at positions of need and at incredible value. The Broncos now have great depth and versatility at many positions, including wide receiver, tight end, and the interior offensive line.
I acknowledge that Garett Bolles made strides toward the end of of last season, but do you think that Woody Paige is on to something with the Broncos being interested in signing a veteran offensive tackle such as Kelvin Beachum, Jason Peters, or Cordy Glenn? When I look at the Broncos’ roster as currently constructed, offensive tackle still concerns me the most based on Ja’Wuan James’ injury history and the roller coaster ride that is Bolles. The roster is very green right now at several spots, but offensive tackle troubles me the most.
DNVR and the Broncos made the most of the 2020 Draft. I think that the past three drafts the Broncos have learned an important lesson from The Music Man (1957) in regard to who they focus their draft efforts on—“You pile up enough tomorrows, and you’ll find you’ve collected a lot of empty yesterdays.” Have a great week! Go Broncos and Go DNVR!
Drewlockerboi
Wow what a draft! Drew lock has all the weapons he could ever ask for. I would expect nothing less than 5000 yards. Do you guys expect this to happen if not how much is the ceiling?
Thanks Drew Locker

Solid draft class for Elway and co. Back to back to back for Denver. Its a great thing to see. I was especially a fan of Strnad in the 5th and getting that dank good Cush in the 3rd.
Now back to our regularly scheduled program!
Day 11 of the Jersey Challenge. Cleveland Browns time!
This is easy and I need Mase, if present to say it for me…. JANO!
Broncoholic
Hey guys! Huge thank you to everyone involved for all your hard work that led to your great coverage of the draft! I watched all of Thursday & Friday’s coverage live on fb and loved it!
Also thank you for reading and commenting to my super long comment on the pod last Wednesday. Can’t explain how thrilled I was listening to Zac read my comment, and then listen to your takes!
So a shorter question today:
In listening to you guys sounds like you may view Jeudy as WR1 over Sutton. Is this correct? In my mind Courtland is WR1, at least for 2020, as the primary outside guy and Jeudy you can move around and put him anywhere that works best for the play. Your thoughts?
Hayduke_Abides
I might miss the cutoff here, which is fine, but I just wanted to tell you guys the work you all did this weekend was above what anyone could have reasonably hoped for. As somebody who does not live in Denver, I don’t get a lot of opportunities to share moments like the draft with other fans who are as passionate about the Broncos as I am, and that is exactly what this coverage allowed me to do. You guys killed it, I turned ESPN off. Great job by the Broncos, the DNVR crew and the DNVR community. This was special.
Screw This
Elway and co have pulled off another great draft. It feels weird actually being excited to watch the offense this year. We have all of the weapons and now it is time to see if Drew is the guy. One thing I notice in the later rounds was that we mainly focused on guys with amazing athletic abilities. They didn’t have the production you would like but they are just freak athletes. I am excited to see what they can do with better coaching. Do you guys like that they focused on guys with amazing athletic abilities rather than guys who have had the production? I know people are concerned with LT but Bolles did played well the last five games with Lock. Would you rather have Bolles at tackle or move Risner to tackle and put Muti in at guard when healthy?
