Over the years, above all else, DNVR has become about community. The community of members that have supported us, the community of podcast listeners across all of our feeds, the community of social media users that follow each of our individual beats, and, of course, the Denver community.

The combination of those communities becoming the DNVR Family is what makes this special to us, but our community has never had a true epicenter, other than just—well—the internet.

A few months ago, one of our long-time partners came to us with an idea that absolutely blew our minds: What if the DNVR Community had a physical home?

The idea evolved.

What if all of the watch parties were under the same roof? And what if that same roof hosted the entire DNVR network? What if all the podcasts and videos were hosted from the same place? What if there was a merch shop where fans could come see our gear in person?

What if a member of the DNVR Family could come in for lunch and hear a podcast live—and get a discount just for being a member? What if watch parties went directly into post-game shows that our members could see and participate in live?

Of course, we all fell in love with the idea, and The DNVR Bar was born.

So what is it?

Well, at its core, it is, of course, a sports bar. Formerly known as Colfax Sports & Brew and Three Lions Pub before that, this space has been hosting sports fans for years, and we plan to keep that tradition alive. Located in the heart of Denver on the corner of Colfax and York, this will be the ultimate home for Denver sports fans to watch their teams with the sound on.

But those of you who have been to the previous iterations of this bar probably remember that it has a mezzanine or loft level above the main area. Well, we’ve completely transformed that second floor into the new DNVR office and studios. From here, we will host our podcasts, record our videos and produce the content that you’ve come to know and love. And when you come to the bar, you’ll be able to look right through the glass and into the whole operation.

Yes, our headquarters is now a bar—pray for Rudo.

But wait, there’s more!

This will also be the host of the first retail location for the DNVR Locker, where you can check out all of our Denver sports merch and really see how soft it is.

Our goal here is to bring the DNVR universe to life in a physical space and we can’t wait for you to see it!

Our grand opening is set for this Friday (3/13) at 5 PM. We’ll have the entire crew on hand and both the Nuggets and Avs games on the TVs. Come celebrate with us as we take the next step!

And if you can’t make it on Friday, don’t worry, because the Grand Opening celebration will continue throughout the entire weekend, with St. Patrick’s Day celebrations on Saturday and both Nuggets-Lakers and Avs-Golden Knights on Sunday.
