Malone will run his usual lineup/rotation as far as he can…yet if the 1st or 2nd rd playoff best of 7 gets close…Porter Jr is READY to play 25+ min/game…the MANTRA of “No Excuses” will also apply to the Best Players Play standard. Credit to Denver’s team development, continuity and cohesion as why they will go farther in the playoffs past the 2nd round this year.

someone please stop malone from putting craig and harris on the court together. the team can survive with one on the floor at a time but both out there together is tying two hands behind their back. I’m certain that that the tendency to give up big leads and fall into holes corresponds directly to this situation.

If Porter comes back post All-Star break and is playing like the guy he was before the injury I could see him playing 25 minutes/game in the playoffs — he’d deserve it. And yes, Harris and Craig shooting like they have for much of the season on the floor together isn’t great. They need Harris to start hitting open 3s.

Do you see MPJ starting next season? And if so, taking whose spot?

Have a feeling that unless Gary is gone that Malone won’t move either him or Barton to the bench in favor of MPJ… or injury.
