It really boils down to Pickett or Strong in this draft. They are clearly above the others imo. If the broncos landed one of these guy I’d be stoked. Howell and Corral are decent second option and might be successful at the next level as well but not quite the caliber as Srong and Pickett. If I had my choice of the two I’d go Pickett. How say you?

-Speaking of Vic, I’ve noticed (that overall) our core players, that we rely on most, are so wildly inconsistent… Is that an indictment on the HC? I respect Vic as a DC but I think he should focus on doing just that instead of trying to run a team. Boy I sure hope there’s some credence to the notion of him staying as the highest paid DC & giving up HC duties.
-I watched the Vikings play the Rams last week. Low key Leonard Floyd was more disruptive and noticeable than Von. Which is crazy because this off-season I thought it was disrespectful to mention the two in the same season. Is this another feather in Paton’s hat?

So idk I’m just curious your thoughts but isn’t Patrick mahommes …John elway born in a era that had a lotta rules to protect the QB and score more points … Idk why no one speaks to that it’s obvious that elway played incredible in a era that didn’t allow all his talent to be game changing as it should have been idk just curious what you all think thanks fellas

Not sure how Vic and Shurmur are still employed, but whatever. Looking forward to the moves that this team will hopefully make in the off-season. Also looking forward to the 2022 opponents to be announced, so I can start planning trips next year. Planning on going to a home game each year and making a pilgrimage to the DNVR Bar / Party bus / Tailgate. Discovering the pod was the best Broncos-related thing to happen for me in 2021 (and being there to see us smack the Cowboys).
Hopefully we can get Russ/Rodgers and score more than 10 points a game next year.

Jim Leonhard, Wisconsin defensive coordinator and former Broncos safety. He already turned down the Packers DC job in the last hiring cycle.

One of the arguments for keeping Fangio is that our defense has done a great job of shutting down opposing offenses. That those teams always score less points against the broncos. The problem with this thinking is that the other teams are playing situational football. They are playing to win not rack up points.
Look at the Raiders game. The Raiders didn’t score a lot but they were able to dictate the flow of the game. When they needed points they got them. When the passing game was failing they ran all over this defense.
Fangio runs a very good Defense but he’s not so elite that he should earn another year as the head coach. Time to move on.

Vic Fangio as HC and Derek Carr as QB
OR
Kellen Moore as HC and Kenny Pickett/Matt Corral/Malik Willis as QB.
