Boys, let’s get real – Vic will NOT be the coach of the 2022 Broncos. Give me your WAY TOO EARLY coaching candidates that you’d like to see the Broncos hire.

Love you all. Cheers

Reposting since it got missed with some sponsor love

Howdy Gents,

Always listening and forgetting to get comments in by the cutoff. Following up on your Vic talk…first of all, world isn’t ending nothing has really changed….but Vic and the staff in general is subpar at best. Special teams is a nightmare year in and year out. Offense is still impotent, Shurmur didn’t seem to alter his game plan to hit Drew’s strengths, Vic’s D seems to whiff in big moments and games. The team can’t keep the foot on the gas and come up big to end games. Why was the defensive game plan so different first quarter vs the rest of the game? Vic out-coaches himself and clocks are still confusing.

Thanks for the pod as always

Boys.
Vic seems like the kinda guy that would have a tough day at work and go home and kick his dog. Wanker.
New Coach next year, drafts “his QB”.
If you could only choose one elite QB trait which would it be?
Arm strength?
Rushing / Improvising?
Field Processing / Play IQ?

Put me down for a smart QB who can diagnose the defense quickly and make the right throws.

My Peoples!

I just wanted to chime in on a couple things.

1. No matter how this year turns out, no matter the record, We need to make some coaching changes. Vic just isnt the guy. I really like the idea of Byron Leftwich as a candidate. Working with Tom Brady and Bruce Arians has got to be worth something.

2. I own 2 DNVR truckers hats and have had to convince my self that I do not need a third, hands down my favorite hat,

I love yall, hope everyone is doing well and makes it through whatever is going on.

Hi guys,

I’ve looked ahead to week 9 and worst case scenario see the Broncos 4 and 5 with our only win against Washington, I see Fangio still safe.
Then 3 wins to finish the year 7 and 10, missing the playoffs and Vic, McMahon and Shurmur gone. Do you think after week 9, George Paton is making calls enquiring about Rodgers at QB and coaches like Doug Pederson? Or does he wait?

Gentlemen! Greetings from Broncos Country, UK branch. Spare a passing thought for the European fans over the next two weekends. Love love love having some live NFL football 100 miles from my home – no complaints there. But we’re being “treated” to the Jets at the Falcons and then the Dolphins at the Jags. Bleeurgh!! I know beggars can’t be choosers but sheesh – throw us some tastier match ups next year please Roger.

It should have been the Broncos in town after last year’s COVID abort and with a Jags road game on the 2021 schedule. See you all next year maybe…

All the best
Christopher

PS I miss The Count.

Two crap teams often make for good games, I’m excited, but not visiting London in person this year (my first missed)

What are the chances we pick up Gilmore or Smith, we could use the help at MLB and you can never have enough CB’s

Hey fellas, long time no speak. Still listening, but I have missed a couple of pods this year (sorry!)..

Ok, watch the Seahags Vs Nooners game, Russ and Offense were bad in first half. They were brilliant in 2nd, especially at the start. Yes, Jimmy G got injured (is now a good time to talk about my pre draft chat about Trey Lance? haha), but the point is, they wouldn’t have turned it around without Wilson on the field.

We had no chance without Teddy really. Nevertheless, I have to call out our coaches. We were averaging 6 yards per run and we ran it 4 times (don’t quote me, but think that’s right) in the second half. Awful. Shurmur, just like players, I was giving time to evaluate and bed in, but I’m sorry, he’s not it. Time for him to go, and time for Vic too I think. Let’s not jump to those conclusions yet tho, as even great teams have a bad game a year. Was this ours? Let’s see, but for me, Vic has to do a lot of good stuff to change my mind this year.

Peace out and love to all

Boys! I will be going to the Steelers game this weekend, and the Browns game in a couple weeks. I am thinking about flying to Denver for a game because I have a friend that lives there. If I make it happen I will be checking out the DNVR bar fo sho. I believe that we will bounce back from the loss to Baltimore, and we needed that punch in the mouth. Heads up, we will bounce back and take care of the Steelers!

Wait, what?! The Count is ducking out? Awful news, but just want to thank you for all your contributions since I landed here, back in the BSN days, how many years ago is that now?!

Anyhow, you nearly always made me chuckle, so thank you.

Good luck in the future buddy, wish you all the luck and prosperity you deserve.

Go Broncos!

My Boys! Looking forward to traveling to Pittsburgh this weekend. Hopefully Teddy can play. Wanted to pick your guy’s brains on a few things:

1. Our Offense. I feel like we have ran an outdated offensive scheme since John Fox left the organization in 2014. I would like to see us run more packages out of the gun. How do you guys feel about it?

2. Our QB Situation. The elephant in the room. I’ve been pleasantly surprised with Teddy’s play this year. But like most of Broncos Country, I have no idea what our long term plan is at the position. We seem to prefer renting veteran QB’s for a few years rather than drafting and developing talent. Fun fact – in our franchise’s storied history, the only QB drafted by the Broncos to win a playoff game was Tim Tebow. Let that sink in.

We have SO MUCH talent on this roster, and I feel like it’s being held back the last few years (mostly by play-calling and partly by decision making under-center). Cheers fellas!

If the broncos looked very 2020 against the Ravens maybe it was because we were fielding the 2020 broncos in the second half. Arguably an even worse version of it.

The theory going into this season was that we had a strong roster if we just got better quarterback play. Then our upgraded quarterback got knocked out of the game.

On top of that look at the injuries we have. We are thin at wide receiver but most importantly we were trying to pass protect with two rookie guards. That’s much of why Bridgewater was struggling and got a concussion.

Bridgewater is still the quarterback. We will get players back from injury. Then we can see what the 2021 broncos actually are.

It’s Wednesday my dudes!

Can we—Broncos country and the players—stop feeling so demoralized by this loss?! Talk about fragile egos… Sure, it sucked to lose the way we did but we’ve got an opportunity to show some resilience against a storied Pittsburgh Steelers franchise. Winning at the Ketchup stadium is always a feat worth celebrating. Let’s buck up and get positive about this upcoming matchup.

In my family, this is a huge rivalry—Broncos vs Steelers—me being the lone Broncos fan in a family of Yinzers. For my own sake and fragility, please Broncos get me a double U!

Love,
Onion Booty

NFL.com’s Dan Hanzus would describe this Steelers Broncos game as a cornered animal game (a type of desperation that would have the Steelers pull all the stops out to stay alive) how does the Broncos offense prepare for a swarming Steelers defense? Who needs to step up big to win?

Well I know it’s way to early to panick but F*** that was a bad look. We held the ravens to a beatable score, that loss wasn’t excusable. Im still confident in our roster but Vic isn’t a HC. He’s continued to make the same mistakes, this defense is too talented for these big plays, and I personally witnessed the lack of energy at camp this year. Shurmur’s offense only works with certain personnel and he doesn’t scheme to player’s strengths, and aren’t most teams supposed to have a ST coordinator?!

If we aren’t looking like strong contenders at the bye I propose we give Munchack and Azzani a tryout at HC and OC respectively and see if Donatell has true coordinator chops or if he was a Vic product.

And while we are promoting people can we put Mrs. Mason on payroll to prevent Mase from anymore enema references on Twitter?! Mase I had a mental image of that and I’m traumatized!

Sorry for the long one guys, see y’all at the bar Sunday,

Howdy from Texas!

Safe to say we found a gem and replacement for Kareem in the future in Caden Sterns? Love his play and his name is pretty cool too. Benjamin Allbright had a cool tweet saying he needs to be on the field more. Old Fangs needs to find a way!

This Pittsburgh game scares me. Early game out east. But im confident we will bounce back.
