Paxton’s Patch
Hey boys, guess we all saw the TB trade coming at some point. I actually love the move and the price we paid. When we signed Keenum and then Flacco, the Broncos did not follow up on those moves by drafting a QB. (Although Lock was there with Flacco) Here’s hoping Paton doesn’t follow suit. This is a good team. Let’s throw one more dart at QB position. Draft Fields/Lance if available.

1. Mase your so right about the tragectory of the WR position from a draft perspective. Today’s game is different and I think you can bank on the fact that you’ll be able to find talent at WR in any given draft year if CFB xontinues putting out like it has over the past 3 years or so. Bama has a true freshman who’s a dog, I caught a few plays from their spring game this past weekend, his name is Agiye Hall (you heard it here first). ANYWAY here’s a thought.. I don’t think the move is to stack up and wait until 2022 for a QB. However I think the 2023 QB class will be special with DJ U from Clemson, Bryce Young, and (insert any Ohio state QB). If this is the plan and you want to give Drew every shot to succeed (or Atleast bridge you for 2023) and you decide you will take your swing in 2023, how do you logically navigate through this year and next year to get there?
MY PICK:
Trade back and see if we can get a late first this year, an extra second this year, as well as some day 1-2 compensation next year, is this possible?? I really like Javonte Williams, Richie Grant, Levi Onwuzurike, JOK, as well as Caleb Farley. All could go earlier, but I think they profile in late R1- early R2, which would make that our sweet spot. If we can pickup 2-3 of those guys it’s a good draft in my book!
2. Is bolles better than Ryan Ramcyxz.?
And as a follow up, Was he last year?

Well its been a GREAT WEEK OF PRACTICE leading up to this draft but, now we gotta Vance Joseph this thing…
How about we sit, start & cut these three possible options….
Option 1) Paton drafts a hall of fame player with his first pick (like Elway did)
Option 2) the broncos trade out of round 1
Option 3) Drew Lock plays at a pro bowl level for another franchise in 2021
Have a great draft night and I almost forgot….. Has juwan james retired yet?
Some People Call Me The Space Cowboy
Hypothetically, if in the NFL Draft there was a punter who always downed the ball at the 1 yard line (no matter what or how far), would you use your 1st pick for him?
