1. I love the way Michael Porter Jr. sets up the dribble handoff (DHO) with Nikola Jokic on this possession. Often times it’s the tiny details that gain you an advantage on any given possession. By getting the defender in the air and off balance, Porter is able to sprint into the handoff and take the wide open mid-range jumper.

2. I also love how Porter is slowly learning that if he just trusts the team to find a good shot, good shots will fall into his lap. Plays like this one will happen more and more as the team continues to stay patient and trust their Jokic-driven identity.

3. Moving off ball is the most underrated skill in basketball. Cuts like this one from Jamal Murray go unnoticed by most viewers but on this play, it was the most important factor in creating an open shot.

4. I liked this play design from Michael Malone and the Nuggets to open the 2nd quarter.

5. I also loved the way PJ Dozier attacked Coby White in transition.

6. I thought Vlatko Cancar played with incredible energy, effort, and attention to detail. It was impressive that a player who hasn’t stepped on the court too often to be able to step in and play such low-mistake basketball.
