I am not privy to all Avs media questions with Bednar, but has anyone actually asked Bednar about Shane Bowers and what it may take for him to see some nhl ice?

Agree that the Avs were a bit sloppy and not having good execution of their game. Are my eyes fooling me or are we still passing up on some shots in the some good scoring areas for that perfect goal. 95 needs to shoot more along with the rest of the team.

Puck luck, Vegas had it. The puck always seemed to bounce to Vegas in their d zone during a scramble and not the Avs. Avs lose. Game two it went right on to Kadri’s stick. Avs won.

I couldn’t believe the media asked makar about power play struggles in a game where they had….. One. Look, Vegas outplayed Colorado for sure, but it’s demoralizing when the ref trips a guy and you get called, then the other team commits several flagrant penalties and the refs are like “whatever”. Not blaming the refs for the L though, you’re right that the bottom six needs to get their collective head out of their ass. MacKinnon can’t do everything.

AJ, do you think Matt Nieto’s absence is significant for the Avs bottom 6 not scoring? He has 3 goals and 1 assist in 17 games played this year. Last year Nieto, Calvert and Bellemare seemed to have good chemistry.
