MY BOYS!
I hope y’all are doing great. I have a fun question for you guys today. What is your top five GOAT list? I would love to give you mine, and why they are on there.
1. Muhammad Ali: For me, he has to be at number one. He is the greatest to ever pick up a pair of gloves. Not only that, but just the adversity he went through was insane. In 1967 he was banned from boxing and stripped of his title. As soon as he came back, he had to face George Foreman, a man who when people faced him, every single time they feared for his opponent’s life. In addition to all of that, he is a social justice hero. I can’t put Ali anywhere but first on this list.
2. Michael Jordan: The most dominant player in the history of basketball. I mean, he won 6 Finals in 8 years. Not a lot more to say here.
3. Serena Williams: With all the struggles she had to go through to become the GOAT of tennis, whether it was gender barriers or racial barriers, she has to be on this list. She is a hero, and the greatest of all time in the sport of women’s tennis, and it’s not really close.
4. Tom Brady: Seven Super Bowl wins. Won a Super Bowl when he was 43. Need I say more?
5. Wayne Gretzky: Nine Hart Trophies, 10 Art Ross trophies, 5 Lady Byng trophies, 5 Lester B. Pearson Awards, (nowadays the Ted Lindsay Award) and 4 Stanley Cups. Even if you took away every goal he ever scored, he would still have the most points in the history of the NHL. It’s insane, just how great he was. I am a huge hockey fan and would love to put him higher on this list, and he would be higher, if he had won the Stanley Cup after leaving Edmonton. He got close in LA, but just couldn’t get it done. But he has to be on this list, in my opinion.
Sorry for the long comment, but I’d love to hear your guys’ thoughts on this! Thought it would be a fun topic for you guys to discuss. Have a great Wednesday, and thanks for everything y’all do.
Much love,
Sebastian

Fellas,

Mark Moseley won the 1982 NFL MVP and became the only kicker to do so. What would have to happen in today’s NFL for another kicker to do it again?

Fellas,

In a year like none other the cap situation is dire, what would the cap number be if it were a normal year and where would the broncos be sitting? What else could they get done? Also, what would it do to the potential free agent market (doubt marahaun lattimore would be potentially cut if there was more money to work with etc)

Cheers
TLDR
P.S. working making the double decker bowl dishwasher safe with a removeable middle section that houses all the componets. The more I get into this the more crazy it becomes

Hey guys,

I read on another site that the last thing Patton wants to do after next season is look for a new coach. I tend to disagree. I think it’s weird that he took this position without being able to select a coach of his choosing and is basically using this next year to evaluate Lock and Fangio together. That’s why I think (by far) the most reasonable expectation is to run it back with Drew (unless we can land Deshaun). This will still give Patton that 5-year window most GMs get initially.

P.S. another podcast did a snake draft on best states. Colorado was the first selection of round 2 (4 picks per round), behind North Carolina, New York, Texas and Arizona? They also selected 1 “worst state” and they were Ohio, Delaware, Florida and New Jersey (much more reasonable selections than the best states in my opinion).

All these clowns on twitter be trying to argue that Sutton is elite. Am I wrong, or is he just good? His catch rate is poor. His yds are 18th best. His receptions are 30th. How is that elite? It’s not. Homers, dude.

Love
The Count.

put sutton on the chiefs or packers and he’s a 1600 yard receiver. put tyreek or davante adams on the broncos these past few years with flacco/allen/lock/driskel/rypien/hinton/lock again and they’d be lucky to scrape 1000.

Hey fellas, 2 questions for ya! What are the injury timelines for some of the injured players from this past season: Albert O, Jurrell, Purcell, and Courtland? Also, have you heard any update about the Broncos bringing back their throwback helmets back for a game this season now that the 1 helmet rule is gone? Thanks as always for your hard work guys, I can’t wait to hear your thoughts!

What’s the deal that Von will be happy with and also the Broncos. This might be the trickiest negotiation of the offseason…. Your thoughts?

I’ve been busy and haven’t commented in a while but I can no longer sit by and let bad takes happen relentlessly lol. I’ve got to step into on behalf of the hot-fudge-sundae gang.

Like others chiming in, I agree Hot Fudge Sundae pop-tarts are the best. I’m guessing if Zac’s other picks were a little stronger he would have done better in the poll.

Mase said “if you want ice cream go get ice cream” to dismiss hot fudge sundae pop tarts. But Mase if you want strawberries, go get a strawberry. If you want blueberries, go get a blueberry. This could be said about all pop-tarts. I’m sure listeners see through this cookie-cutter argument.

Besides, sometimes you don’t want to go into the freezer to get some ice cream, possibly wait for it to soften a couple minutes so it can be scooped easily, get a bowl, scoop the ice cream, go to the fridge or pantry for chocolate/fudge syrup, have to heat that up if you want the real deal, poor it on top, get sprinkles and poor those on top, and then also have to get whatever else you may want like whipped cream when you can just go to one spot, grab a pop tart and enjoy.

Convenience is the name of the game

Hey guys, why haven’t we talked about Alex Smith as a hedge QB? His recent comments this morning and Washington in the market for a QB, I don’t see him coming back to the football team. He could help mentor lock, and step in and be a game manager if needed! Just want to hear you thoughts!

Yea fellas I didn’t want to address Watson but I’m constantly looking for ways to improve this team and that package I offered yesterday it hurts

( 3 1s …3 2s …Drew ,fant, Phil, Patrick, dremont , Glasgow )

But idk how any other team can beat that we can afford to lose those players and let Paton build a team thru draft picks and free agency

Other teams can only offer picks they can’t offer talent without really firing their roster we’re the only team that can do both cuz of depth we have on offense .. ..and Texans can use those other 6 picks to go get their qb and draft premium defense players like u wanted caserio

caserio I got u all this build me a competitive roster !

We’ll see tho lol

Fellas,

Lou from Littleton was on the Dave Logan Podcast today and they were taking about the ownership situation. He believes that the Broncos will be sold later this year. Also, because the other NFL owners don’t want just anybody to join them, the league has already vetted a couple people who they will approve to buy the team.

How say you?

Alright boys, there was something said on the podcast yesterday that direly needs to be addressed. I’m sorry but Waterboy is not the best football movie ever. It is without a doubt a good one, but in my opinion you can’t bring it to the same light as the Likes of the all time great, Remember the Titans, or The little Giants where the most prolific football play The Annexation of Peurto Rico made its appearance, or even one of my all faves The Replacements where Shane Falco leads the Washington Sentinels to the playoffs. Just curious what are your guys top football movies?
Thanks as always, hope everyone is staying positive and testing negative

Calvin Anderson and Garett Bolles were on an Instagram live doing a Q&A last night in the hot tub. They call it late night with C & G.

My takeaways:
-they denied and refused to answer any Lock/Watson rumor questions
-Calvins pregame routine is to solve a Rubix cube and Garett’s is taking a warm shower in the dark
-they have no idea if Von is coming back
-they love Vic and love to play hard for him
-they kept gesturing the “shush” emoji when talking about their goals for next season ?
-they both agree that Justin should be extended
-someone even asked if they followed DNVR. Calvin said he doesn’t know lol

Garett is a really funny dude and Calvin is really chill. Pretty entertaining and chill live, they said they are going to do it all offseason.

Hey Zac, Thank you so much for reaching out to me on Twitter! I know you are really busy and having you to take time out of your day to answer my question was awesome I really appreciate that!

I am a North Dakota kid and love all Denver sports (Except the Rockies… but the Twins aren’t much of an upgrade). I would like to ask Mase what would you rather cheer for? A team gifting their players away or a team that has not won a playoff GAME since 2001?

On to my Broncos question. When I was in college I had the opportunity to see NDSU play several of games since I went to UND the rival school. I have seen Brock Jenson, Carson Wentz, Easton Stick, and Tre Lance all play at NDSU and all be successful. To people who have never seen the Bison (pronounced Bizon) they play a prostyle offense where they power run and use the play action quite often. They always have superior lines both Offense and Defense, and have multiple Rbs that they use to ram the ball down the field. With that being said I think the Colts made the right move to get Wentz. He is so good under center (which he didn’t do much in Philly) and with a solid RB in Taylor. I think they need one more WR to fully make that offense click however. I’m not saying this will happen but the Colts could be very good next year. So do you think the Broncos with the current roster and Scheme they have right now could have success with Lance? Not to be Bias because I hate NDSU. However, I think if they did let Lance sit under Lock this year I feel a lot stronger about him in the 22-23 season than Lock.

Buzzer beater? Von Miller should be a 1 team 1st ballot hall of fame bronco….(as long as he didn’t do anything tyreekish)

Who will we watch go into the hall of fame from Von’s draft class….are Von an jj first ballot sweeps? They have to be right?
