Great analysis Mase. This is similar but a good supplement to the data analysis that Joe Mahoney did on Lock’s stats compared to peer groups and improvement comparisons.
The bottom line of all of this seems to be: he has not looked good and there is some indication of improvement, but how much do you believe this will continue?
The people that in the best position to make an informed estimate are in the Broncos HQ, so we just have to trust they can advise Paton as accurately as possible and see what he can do from there. Will be very interesting to see how this all plays out over the next month all the way through training camp to Day 1 starter.
