What’s going on my g’s? I wanted to share something that may be somewhat amusing to you guys before getting into my question. So when it comes to sports toxicity on social media, I am usually the last person to respond to people or comment about anything on my mind bc it just isnt my style. I am usually just chill. Well with all of this Deshaun Watson talk, I wanted to do my part by speaking it into existence the best that I can. I decided to dust off the twitter fingers and shamelessly let them loose! I have been commenting on all the haters, posting deshaun cropped in a denver uniform under everyone elses cropped deshaun pictures, breaking down how good our roster is for him, arguing with fans of other teams…etc. It must be working because since I unleashed the twitter fingers Denver has become the betting odds to land him AND it gained enough traction for the Mile High Report to write about it in an article lol. The article shows me arguing with a chiefs fan on twitter lol comical to say the least because we ere arguing about historical success of the Broncos and the chiefs. Seeing that before Mahomes, they hadnt won a super bowl in 50 or 60 years, I obviously won the argument lol
Question: The Broncos have probably had over 50-60 1st rd draft pics (maybe more) in the history of our franchise and have yet to select a legit home grown QB, The same goes for many other organizations. With that being said why dont we just offer not 3, not 4, not 5, (in my lebron james voice) but 6 1st rd picks just to make sure we land him? We have spent way more pics looking for a qb and still havent found a single one. Afterall, QB is by far the most important position right? Woudnt 6 1st rd picks guarantee landing him? We have a solid enough core and cap to keep talent around him during those years. What do you guys think?
By the way, RK hands down won the poptart draft. Smores are the best followed by brown sugar and maple. Strawberry is a distant 3rd (shout out to Mase)
My fault for the long comment, yall stay blessed!
Nathaniel Thiccett?
I love and respect all of yall but I gotta be honest, that pop tart draft was hard to listen to.
Wild berry, the TRUE Trevor Lawrence of this draft, reduced to a mere honorable mention? Chocolate chip but not CC Cookie Dough? That raspberry whatever the heck thing? You all need to diversify your pop tart experiences. This is like saying that vinegar based bbq sauce is better than tomato. Anyways I’ll see you guys next week when I complain again about yall having different opinions on subjective issues. Stay thicc

Just had one of the most rewarding experiences of my young life. From Friday at 10 pm to Saturday at 6 am I was helping administer vaccines here in the the Copper State of AZ. If anyone can help and volunteer, please do. You can really tell how much it means to the others in your community. All love ?

My boys!
This is my first comment, So I’m gonna take advantage.
I just want to let y’all know how much you have helped me through some hard times. This pod and these comments have been a part of my life for about 2 years now (shoutout to The Count and Iceman). I have had some difficulties in the last year, as I’m sure we all have, but recently I’ve been doing a lot better and I’m happy to have y’all with me on that journey too. Y’all have been with me through tough runs, workouts, long work shifts, and some long nights enjoying too many cold snacks. Y’all have been the highlight of my journey as I prepare for my next adventure and I appreciate all you do for this community. I’ve recently enlisted in the US Marine Corps and am starting boot camp on Monday so I’m excited to have three months of pods to catch up on once I come back! I can’t wait to hear all of it when I come back in late May and hopefully be able to visit the DNVR Bar when I’m back! Best wishes to all of you!
Question: Out CBs are our weakest link and, I feel like, our safeties lack depth. What would you do to supplement that vs. would do you think the Broncos will actually would do?
Go America! And Go Iceman!

Hey guys,
I just renewed for another year. Unlike so many Broncos draft picks in recent years, you got a second contract.
Quick Broncos question. In 2019, it felt like Alexander Johnson was ready to set the world on fire but took a step back in 2020. Is that how you see it or am I giving him too much credit for 2019 or being too harsh for 2020?
Thanks,

Happy Monday guys! I’m ready to make my bold prediction for the off-season. The broncos cut Melvin Gordon after he is convicted of a DUI and sign Phillip Lindsay to a dearl for 3-4 years and draft a running back in the 3rd round. I know this is unlikely but I would love to reward Phil and tell him that we are confident he is a starting running back going forward. Anyways, Zac, I loved your article about Ojemudias first season. Hopefully he develops into a solid #2 corner this next year. Having said that I would love it if we signed a guy like King from Greenbay to a inexpensive contract and drafted one in the late 1st or 2nd (or even at 9 if we don’t trade down). Hope y’all have a great week and can’t wait to listen to the podcast that finally sends Watson to denver

Fellas,
With Tim Tebow officially retiring, it made me think about his time with the Broncos. From what you guys have heard over he years, what was Josh McDaniels plan for him? Did he think he would be able to create a playbook that would make Tebow’s skill set work in the NFL?

hey guys!
two of my favorite players on the broncos roster are kj hamler and dre’mont jones. what did y’all think about their season last year, what is there potential and do y’all have any player comparisons?
for kj, it’s easy to compare him to any undersized fast receiver like desean jackson, ty hilton or john brown but the comp i like the most for him is tyler lockett.
dre’mont is a bit harder but i see a lot of geno atkins in his game. both undersized interior pass rushers that struggled initally against the run. initially i thought that comparison was a bit ambitious for dre’mont but then i rewatched the colts game in his rookie season and saw him winning several times against quenton nelson and that made me think he can definitely get there.
what do y’all think?

So I’m not giving Deshaun Watson trades no more energy. its just too unrealistic for me lol …. however
Would you guys stay at 9 or trade down
I’ve used pff draft simulator I’m going to try the draft netwokra draft simulator as well
If we trade down with the Patriots or lower we can get a first and a second next year …..
My thing is you run it back with drew give him training camp to prove if he should start and he’ll have another shot to prove he can be the guy if not ???
Worst case scenario we could get a decent bridge like Matt ryan and have decent draft picks to trade up and get our guy next year right ….idk
Is this feasible or would you rather trade the farm for Watson

MY BOYS!
I hope y’all are doing great. Just had a quick question for y’all today? Did you guys do anything fun over the weekend? Also, I absolutely loved the Three Ring Circus on Friday! Absolutely hilarious. Thanks for everything y’all do!
Much love,
Sebastian
HOW did Brown Sugar Cinnamon go 2.03? It had such a strong case for 1.01. Y’all really let RK get away with robbery
Andrew Mason
Not a fruit flavor. Fruit > all other Pop-Tart flavors

Whattup fellas. Hope all is well. I am hoping RK is on today because he would probably dig my comment. If he is not I can just repost it for tomorrow.
So I was daydreaming about Deshaun this weekend and started thinking about Drew Lock’s 2020 season and it came to me: Drew Lock’s 2020 season looks a heck of a lot like my golf game. For the majority of the round it’s crap, but I hit just enough solid shots where I think I am good. But I’m not that good. Most holes I am scrambling and fighting to keep it at a bogey. If you see me on one of the few holes where I am on, you might think I’m decent. But the consistency is no where close to where it needs to be where I can consider myself a good golfer. That to me is Drew playing QB. So I thought it would be fun to score his season as a gold round and see where he ended up. I am using rating but also trying to take in some eye test stuff that I remember.
Week 1: Ten: 95 rating – had a decent game but nothing special – Par: Even overall
Week 6: NE: 34.9 rating – couple of TD’s dropped but he wasn’t horrible – Bogey:+1 overall
Week 7: KC: 57.7 rating – atrocious – triple bogey: +4 overall
Week 8: LAC: 94.4 rating – Not great for 3 qtrs/GREAT 4th qtr comeback- Birdie: +3 overall
Week 9: ATL: 77.9 rating – garbage time stats-not a good game – Bogey: +4 overall
Week 10: LVR: 37.3 rating – Worst game of year – Triple Bogey: +7 overall
Week 11: Mia: 75.7 rating – got the W and 60% comp – Par: +7 overall
Week 13: KC: 63.2 rating – decent but early turnover costly- Bogey: +8 overall
Week 14: Car: 149.5 rating – AWESOME – Eagle: +6 overall
Week 15: Buf: 81.8 rating – stats were Ok but flopped vs Allen: Par: +6 overall
Week 16: LAC: 50.3 rating – Jeudy drops hurt but still not good – Bogey: +7 overall
Week 17: LVR: 103.6 rating – solid game all around even with L: Birdie: +6 overall
My take on his round: Front 9 was garbage! Did not belong on the course. Started to turn it around on the Back 9 and finished strong with 2-under par in his last 4. But looking at the whole round he is 6-over Par, which is a bad QB when you see guys that are hitting birdies and pars on a weekly basis with a Bogey once in a while. Not sure Drew can get there – he finished well but who’s is the real Drew??
What do you guys think of his round?
