Colton Strickler kicks off 2021 with ‘The Breakdown’ by talking about ownership changes at Rugby United New York and the Sharks, and Facebook comments before talking about all of the rugby that you can watch this weekend (0:00-14:26). After ‘The Breakdown’, Colton talks to former Monmouth University tight end Shawn Clark about his boarding schools, his stint with the Indianapolis Colts, and how he made the decision to give rugby a try (14:28-34:42). After the conversation, Colton forgets to assign ‘Required Reading’ and closes the show with ‘The Loop.’

Shawn Clark played tight end for Monmouth University from 2015-2o19. He finished his career with 27 receptions for 368 yards and six touchdowns. Clark’s best season came in 2019, where he caught 19 passes for 259 yards and four touchdowns and earned himself a workout with the Indianapolis Colts. He caught RugbyTown Crossover Academy manager Peter Pasque’s eye at the Spring League’s fall tournament in San Antonio, Texas, and accepted an offer to try his hand at rugby in 2021.
