Hey guys!
I’ve been watching a few clips from analysts discussing all the drama with Russ and his birthday party, and I am blown away by how much this has been blown out of proportion. Mike Florio went on and on about how awful it is that Russ is fake at the podium and that he is smiling and professional. What is Russ supposed to do, freak out? Flip the podium? Everyone is so critical of a guy who acts professionally, shows up with a positive attitude and spends his birthday at the hospital visiting people. To top it off, the media is all over this when in the same week, Deshawn Watson will be starting for the Browns!!! This season has been hot garbage to watch, but at least I’m not a ashamed of the Broncos organization for signing a guy who seems to be a real dirt bag who has no business playing football anymore.
On to my question, any way we run things back next year with Russ and Hackett and see if they can figure it out? If it doesn’t work out, can it be our tank year and we draft a QB high and cut our losses with Wilson after the season?
