I have no empathy for Russel Wilson getting trolled by KJ. Sutton. Or whoever else feels like throwing hime under the bus. He deserves to be under there.
He is another embarrassing loss away from losing the locker room completely.
You can’t demand to be traded, demand goddamn stupid amounts of money and perform like he has whilst spending time making even dumber commercials and trying to come up with cool catch phrases.
He has embarrassed all us Broncos fans.
George Paton got played by the Seahawks and Nathaniel Hackett.
What a bum. Is Pat Shurmur still available?
RK, forget about coaching CU.
How does coach and GM of the Denver Broncos sound?
Can’t be any worse than what we are suffering through right now.

My boys,

Pretty sure i saw an Ebay ad placed by a…. G. Penner selling a franchise called “the broncos” for $3 billion.
There is no way Russ lasts to the end of his contract, he is struggling with accuracy and decision making.
Seattle are laughing, and Denver is a national laughing stock, the Chargers will only add to the laughter.

Three weeks ago I called Hackett a moron and Russ average at best on here. I gave them way too much credit.

Hackett may be one of the three worst coaches in the league and that’s probably still giving him too much credit. He is by far the worst hire of this year’s new coaches.

As for Russ, I can only think of 8 or so teams that would rather have Russ as their QB instead of their current option. However, not one of them would want him with his contract. Somehow I feel worse about our QB situation than I ever have since Peyton Manning. The cap hit at the end of 2023 is only 49.6 million to cut him. Maybe we’ll be drafting in the top 5 and we can get Caleb Williams so it’ll work itself out. Only 18 more months!

Hi boys. I have never cursed in a comment on here but I can’t hold back.
I could barely even sleep last night after that fucking embarrassment. What happened to creative, aggressive Hackett? I don’t think we gave the Colts D enough respect, but the Broncos should have won that game 1000%. I was the most frustrated I’ve ever been after a game last night. I smashed my hat on the floor just like KJ smashed his helmet! I think I even hurt my shoulder!
11 Days to whip it up into shape. I don’t really know why, but I somehow still think this team can pull it together.

OPEN YOUR EYES!

Remember when mase and rk laughed at me and Called me ridicules for even mentioning that Russ might be past his prim. My “super spicy” ain’t so spicy now. Boy I wish I was wrong I really do. I want nothing more then Russ to succeed but it was right there in front of us on tape. At least we have draft picks and a ton of cap to fix this thing. Oh wait…….

I’m concerned about the state of the locker room. I’d love to think the players live in a vacuum but they hear what is being said in the public sphere and with the national media picking Hackett to pieces since Week 1 and the narrative around Russ that has been pushed by the team that knows him best, it’s hard to imagine that the locker room isn’t turning on one or both of them at this point.

Also, it absolutely sent me watching Russ end the presser with “Broncos Country-“ then you see in his face that he can’t bring himself to finish the line, so he walks away from the podium and then midway through the walk realizes he’s committed to the bit and whispers the saddest “Let’s Ride” of all time. Comedic gold.

We were sold fools gold folks. Delivered a pig in make and told it was French super model.

Is it too late to get Drew Lock back? (Kidding. Mostly…)

I’m out on this season. I wanna enjoy my Sundays again. Well and occasional Thursdays and Mondays.

I didn’t like the Hackett hire from the start. Don’t understand how y’all and everyone else was so hyped about him. It’s obvious his only real success came when he wasn’t even doing shit because he had Aaron Rodgers. Really wanted a proven coach like Dan Quinn. The whole game plan was tailored around Aaron Rodgers it seems. They even brought in Ol’ Billy softy (described as Hacketts best friend). That obviously didn’t work out. So they decided to go with Russell as Plan B. Sounds good but they’re plugging Wilson into a Packers/Aaron Rodgers offense which is obvious that Russell is not good at or comfortable with. Idk why they not giving him the Seattle Offense that he was so good at. Hackett is clueless out there and trying to force a square peg in a round hole.
Not to mention Hackett looks like a corny cartoon character, never took him seriously not even 1 bit.

In fact he’s so clueless that he’s turning a $256M Russell into a washed up has-been.
We really f***ed ourselves good on this one. And now the whole league points and laughs at us. We’re just a bunch a fools who everyone thinks is an easy W.

PAIN. Hello darkness my old friend…

All frustrations aside from the game, KJ Hamler needs to either be sat down by Paton or traded/cut. Not only is everything inexcusable that he did last night on national TV, the quote, the showing teammates the SS that you guys said…. Let us not forget he was on Twitter sharing “fire Fangio” tweets last year before the seasons end. He’s earned nothing in this league.

Doom and gloom is upon Broncos Country but I will take the unenviable task of pointing out the positives

This game may have been bad, however, I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance by switching to [company name redacted because no free ads here]

Yes that joke is old but it plays more than the offensive production that is straight out of the dark ages.

Some positives. KJ Hamler. Not just that final play but DUDE WAS OPEN ALL GAME. Forget letting Russ, KJ was cooking DBs all night. I could only imagine how the all 22 looks. Defense showed they’re capable of playing threw a slew of big injuries at key positions. Chubb played like a man who wants a new contract. Browning is the truth. Melvin and Boone looked solid. I’m not out of Hackett or Russ by any shot but those 2 need to regain the swagger that was ripped from them after week 1.

Also I will NEVER understand or agree with leaving any sporting event early, especially with a chance to win. Tired of seeing bad play? Soak in the atmosphere man. Look at the cheerleaders, get a hot dog…something!

Sorry, on my previous comment about the cap hit, it would be an extra 49.6 million on top of his 35.4…ugh…might still be worth it.

Don’t worry guys. Hackett just needs to hire a coach for his coach to coach him up so they can coach. I mean we’ve got Walmart money now, so we can just hire one coach for every player on the team, and a coach for that coach! IT’S COACHES ALL THE WAY DOWN!!!

Oh well, at least the Seahawks will be in a good position to draft their quarterback of the future next season!

I’m still coming for the Dec 18th game. Can the tailgate just go for the whole game? I’m not sure why we want to actually watch the game. Playing beer pong with Hank is the better option!

Ryan Clark on ESPN this morning.

“At some point we need to realize that we are now ordering Uber Eats or waiting on the waiter, we are not letting Russ cook! Because if we are waiting on Russ to cook in Denver we are going to starve”…

Really hoping Russ can turn things around but I just don’t have a good feeling about that right now.

Also what are y’all’s thoughts on how long you give a new head coach to get things right? Typically in college you hear 4yrs so they can recruit the players they want into their system. I feel like the leash should be shorter in the NFL, but I just don’t see the benefit of firing Hackett before the end of his first season. I mean even Josh McDaniels got 28 games in Denver.

Yikes. Another season where we find ourselves looking forward to next year by week 6. I think we can all use a good story to distract us for a bit. I am sure you all remember a few years back on the pod there was a few episodes where commenters were using names with great sexual innuendos. All of which were hilarious, but were no where nearly as funny as what an old buddy of mine pulled off when we were younger. He was a senior in high school a year after I had graduated. He called me one day saying that he was standing in line to take a senior picture at a school that he did not even attend and that he planned on using a fake name hoping to get into their yearbook. I told him it would never work. Sure enough, he proved me wrong. 6 months later he sends me a picture of him in a random high school’s yearbook. Wearing the goofiest sweater and an even dorkier smile with the name “Phil Mekok” I never doubted him again. Go Broncos 2023.

A loss this bad may actually be a good thing for serious changes to take place for the rest of the season. Whatever those changes are…
I’ll let this wash over me for a week then shoot up hopeium right before the Chargers game.

Sorry I’m advance for the long one

-Russ isn’t Russ, the wannabe celebrity life got to him and reports that he showed up looking soft to camp make sense now. The statement from Kyle Brandt this morning that Russ tends to act like too much of an A-lister at formal events to speak to media along with the reaction last night from Hamler leads me to believe he may not have the locker room as well as we’ve been led to believe.

-Hackett is a coward. I’ve been concerned about this all season but, 4th and 5 early on in opposing territory when you’re up and your defense is doing their job….man up and go for it. We could’ve had this game in the bag way earlier.

-I don’t care if his knee was down before he lost the ball last night, Melvin Gordon put the ball on the ground six times in six games dating back to last year. At least two cost us games, he’s done.

-4th and 2 for the win in shotgun…..SHOTGUN……SHOT….effing…GUN?? What the absolute F*CK? Just hand the defense your play sheet.

-and lastly, the ownership group DID NOT look happy. They do not seem excited about their investment and the fact that Paton just saddled them with a big contract while the fans don’t even bother to watch the ending. It’s a bad look and Paton sold out our future to get chunky Russ.

I’m still going to london to see the DNVR fam but the broncos don’t deserve our money this year, especially not $8,000 for a london trip. We deserve better
