If the Avs don’t sign Bo to a long term deal, around 7×7, he’s going to wait and then get offer sheeted for something like 2×6.5, sign the matched offer with the Avs, and leave after 2 seasons as an all star elite no. 1 blue liner, at something like 9 million+ per season.

Given the chance to run a PP, he can put up a ton of points. With Cale, the points Bo gets should not be the main factor for his contract. He was the best blue liner in the SCF as a rookie. That type of greatness not being seen by ya’ll is cringeworthy. If the Avs are so cautious about injury, and I don’t adhere to that, I think he’ll be fine, and don’t risk paying him, they risk losing him by age 23.

You can pick your poison there, but I’ve got great confidence in Bo. He’s shown me he’s better than Seider. His offensive ppg. higher than Heiskanen thru Miro’s first four seasons. I know some big Miro love, but fact is, Bo at .56 ppg per the last two seasons is higher than Miro’s best of .51 in his four years prior to this one, and he signed his 8.45×8 deal post ELC, and that was considered a good deal for him. Bo a 7×7 would be a fantastic deal, and he’ll way outplay it in the future.

You lose Bo to stinginess, you lose a huge part of the ability to raise the Cup in 3-5 years.
