Isaiah Stevens was named first-team All-Mountain West by the league’s media on Monday.

The senior point guard had been honored as one of the top 15 players in the league, either by the coaches or the press, in each of his first three seasons at Colorado State. After making the second team over the past two years though, Stevens was finally honored on the first team for the first time in 2023.

For the savvy point guard, the recognition is well-deserved. Stevens played more minutes in the league slate than anybody else, including the 2023 Mountain West Player of the Year, Omari Moore of San Jose State.

Along with being an iron man, Stevens finished fourth in the MW in scoring against league competition at 17.8 points per game. He led the league in assists per game (7.1) and assist to turnover ratio (3.1) as well.

It’s unknown at the moment if Stevens will elect to use his fifth season of eligibility at CSU. Whether he ever plays another game in Moby Arena or not though, Stevens will easily go down as one of the greatest players in school history.

Stevens is currently second in career points (1,739) and first in assists (606). He also ranks in the top 5 in school history for field goals made, threes made, free throw percentage and steals.
