Former Denver Broncos star receiver Brandon Marshall believes the Broncos will start the 2023 NFL season 10-1 or 9-2. Marshall points to George Paton’s signings of Mike McGlinchey, Ben Powers and Zach Allen as being reasons why. Additionally, Marshall spoke very highly of what Sean Payton brings to the team. For Marshall’s record prediction to unfold, what has to happen? How realistic is it that the Broncos 10-1?

How many Facebook based Broncos fans just found out Elway hasn’t been the GM for the first time? I don’t dare venture to that dark place but I imagine the comments are quite comical.

It’s evident in my Twitter mentions how quickly people forget about Kubes and his masterful move of benching PFM and reinserting him (I don’t mean it like that) at the exact right time despite popular opinion perhaps dictating otherwise.

Hey guys!
Your debates last week about defining all-time-greats and their difference from hall-of-famers reminded me of what we have here for Rugby League in Australia. The National Rugby League (or NRL) doesn’t have a hall of fame, instead our greatest players are given the title as an ‘Immortal’ and are simply defined as being “The Greatest Ever”. Although there are no set criteria, it is widely considered that to become an Immortal, you need to be the greatest player of your generation, revolutionised your position, changed the game and/or had a lasting impact on the game beyond your playing career. In the NRL’s 115 year history, only 13 players have been awarded the title of an ‘Immortal’. Making it different from the Hall of Fame which inducts players every year. So which Broncos (if any) would you think classify to be an NFL immortal by fulfilling these criteria and being one of the top 13 players of all time? The obvious options are Elway or Manning, but would you consider them to be within the top 13 players of all time? Hope this sparks some debate 🙂
Cheers guys!

To answer my own question, Riley Dixon is the obvious candidate here. We need to normalise punters as laptop backgrounds! #puntersarepeopletoo
