Sean Payton and George Paton spoke at the NFL Owners Meetings on Monday. When talking about Javonte Williams’ status for Week 1, Paton was hesitant to say if the Denver Broncos’ starting running back will be ready to return from his injury. If Williams isn’t able to play, will Samaje Perine be able to handle the running back workload? Or will the Broncos have to re-sign Latavius Murray? Or potentially draft a running back. Would a later-round back, such as Deuce Vaughn, be a good addition? Or would a first-round investment in Bijan Robinson or Jahmyr Gibbs be needed? Could the Broncos trade either Jerry Jeudy or Courtland Sutton to get the draft capital to snag one of those running backs?

Hello Friends!
I don’t know if it is ego, whether that be playcaller or QB, that keeps offenses from leaning hard into a run first offense. It seems to be the best thing to get rid of yips, develop a young QB, preserve an old QB, or basically have a competent offense. If I’m Russ, I’m leaning into the Tannehill Method. Do we think that SP saw too much ego last year on that tape, and that’s why he’s hesitant to back the incumbent?
Any time I see someone wear a ‘0’ I immediately think of the Monstars. Literally perfect number for Russel Westbrook. My take on jersey numbers is that Coach Prime should consider all of the ‘prime’ jersey numbers the best, hardest to get ones. Please pass on my note, you big-timers!
Last thing: did the emergence of Brock Purdy increase the value that teams consider for 7th round picks? I’d bet GP wants to sneak back in to the last round as much as he can, but that may be more expensive this year because everyone thinks they can find a Purdy.

Hey guys! I just wanted to drop a comment about moving the stadium out of Denver. I am in agreement with you guys and am TOTALLY against them moving the stadium out to DIA. I disagree with Ryan’s take that its all people in the suburbs who don’t want to go into Denver. I agree with Hank and think people that want to move it way out east are from out of town. I currently live in Castle Pines, spent about 10 years in Highlands Ranch and grew up in Denver. My son is a 7th generation Colorado native and my grandparents were season ticket holders in the south stands at the OG Mile High stadium! So just because I live in the burbs, doesn’t mean I hate Denver, I just wanted a bigger house 😉
