Less than a month ago, four-star cornerback Craig Watts Jr. committed to the Wisconsin Badgers.
Despite that commitment, he decided continue on with a scheduled unofficial visit to Boulder just one week later, because his coach had already paid for the trip. The trip was great for Watts, and a Colorado for the Buffs. He explained to Adam Munsterteiger of Buffstampede.com that he was blown away by Boulder and defensive coordinator Jim Leavitt.
Now, all of the sudden the recruitment of the highly ranked Floridian is getting more interesting.

The Buffs are certainly in the mix here, with Watts’ trip to Boulder seemingly being the first domino to fall, leading to his de-commitment, but the highly sought after player is not short on options, with names like Alabama, Florida State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, and many, many more popping up on his offer sheet.
None the less, Watts was very high on Colorado during his time here, and the Buffs have some Southern momentum rolling right now. You may be seeing this on the field before you know it.
