My personal top-10 was: Rantanen, Bigras, Grigorenko, Pickard, Hishon, Bleackley, Wood, Compher, Elliott, Geertsen.

Also really like Greer, but want to see what he does with his expanded role at BU this upcoming season. Meloche I’d like to see play before I commit him to my top-10, though based on what I’ve read, I’m very excited.

Still like Siemens too, but he needs a jolt this year. Perhaps hypocritical to rate Grigorenko high, and then give no love to Siemens, but I just have a souring feeling creeping in when it comes to Siemens’ future and his ceiling.

Avs have done work this past week revamping the system. FWIW, if Zadorov was eligible, I’d rate him 2nd overall on the list.

These things are difficult because you have to way potential vs. what
has been shown vs. their chance of actually getting on the team (ie
Aggz). However, I totally agree with you about Greer just cause his potential is still so raw and untested (maybe Meloche too); I’d have Geertsen in there ahead of him at this point.

What a joy it is to cheer for a team that finally has 10 top prospects and others fighting to get in.

How many RFA’s received QO yesterday? I haven’t seen a list yet.

We don’t have a confirmed list yet.

I would rank Pickard #1 based off his performance against NHL talent. But if you are rating based on impact to the Avs, then I can see how Rantanen would be #1 based on need.
