Here’s what you missed while you were hard at work this week.
CU Video is breeding greatness
We all know how good John Snelson and Jamie Guy of CU video are at their jobs, but this week we got a peak into the next recruiting class of video greats at CU.
CU_Video student Lucas Flores created this short animation piece! Lucas is a senior in film studies http://t.co/1G7zAei0C5 #GoBuffs

Gotta love the unique mindset of this one, never seen anything like that.
50 years from now when people are looking at old videos from the early part of the century, they are going to think CU was pretty great at football.
Hopkins to Fresno
Colorado transfer Jaron Hopkins has committed to Fresno State, source told @CBSSports. Two years of eligibility remaining.

While we had known for a while that Hopkins would not be returning to Colorado this year, on Wednesday, we learned that J-Hop would be taking his game to Fresno State University.
Athleticism was never a question for Hopkins, but he struggled with the skill parts of the game in the Pac-12. Fresno seems like a good for for Jaron, he should be able to showcase his athleticism to a greater extent.
Buff Nation?
The jokes were abundant when news broke that, former Colorado coach, Dan Hawkins would be coaching Team USA in the Federation of American Football World Championships this summer. Rumors circulated that his son, and former Colorado QB, Cody Hawkins would quarterback the team again. He led the team to the gold medal in 2011.
We now know that Cody will not play quarterback, but will instead coach quarterbacks for the team. And Dan and Cody aren’t the only former Buffs that will be a part of the staff. As Kyle Ringo reported for the Daily Camera this week, current Colorado Director of Player development, Darian Hagan will coach wide receivers, and former CU director of football operations, Robert tucker, will be the team’s defensive coordinator.
Cope and Harrison still reppin’
In case you were wondering if David Harrison and Chris Copeland were still exuding Buffs pride, Harrison answered the question on twitter today.

Notice the Buffs cut-off that Cope is rocking.
Maybe these two can join up with Beau Gamble in TBT? Copeland would be eligible because technically he is not under an NBA contract this summer.
