According to a team source, the Broncos have waived offensive lineman Paul Cornick, and tight end Jeremy Kelley.
Cornick appeared in 12 games for Denver in 2014 and started six while the team was re-shuffling the offensive line in the middle of the season. With the Broncos drafting two offensive lineman over the weekend, there isn’t much room for him on the roster.
Kelley was with the Indianapolis Colts during the 2013 pre-season, he then played for the AFL’s San Jose Sabercats before being signed to a futures contract with the Broncos in December 2014.

After traveling to Dallas last year for the final preseason game and seeing Cornick direct traffic into the backfield, I could never understand how he played at all. Surely there were better free agents tackles wandering around, not to mention Chris Clark. I feel much better about Peyton’s health now.
