Peyton Manning has been non committal about his potential return for his 4th season in a Broncos uniform, but doesn’t plan on letting his decision linger.

The issue with this is I don’t know that a February 5th version of Peyton Manning is going to be that much different than that of the Peyton Manning we saw lose to the Colts on January 11th. So its difficult to imagine his decision will really be based on how he feels physically right now but if he feels he can rehab and come back and be closer to the Quarterback we saw the first half of the 2014 season.

Von Miller spoke to the Denver Post about Peyton’s future.

“We can win a championship with Peyton. I think that’s the only thing that matters,” Miller said. “I think he’s coming back. He said a long time ago that he would stop playing football when he felt like he was hurting a team more than helping a team. There’s still so much he can do, so many wonderful things he can do for the Denver Broncos.”

Some think it may be better for the Broncos to move on and start the rebuild. Broncos Pro Bowl Cornerback Chris Harris recently had good things to say about the heir apparent to Peyton.

“Brock is Joe Flacco Jr. He has the big arm. He’s tall like Joe. He’s mobile.” Harris said. “To bring a guy like Kubiak that’s worked with Joe Flacco last year and had success with him, I think in the future, Kubiak’s a better fit for Brock than Gase would be offensive-wise.”

Harris isn’t necessarily advocating for a Quarterback change but he isn’t the only one within the organization to share these thoughts about Osweiler.

Ravens Quarterback Joe Flacco threw for 3986 yards, 27 touchdowns, and 12 interceptions in Gary Kubiak’s offense last year.

We’ll soon know the future of the Quarterback position in Denver but the short term success of the team is certainly in better hands with #18 under center.
