Sapp was part of NFL Network’s coverage for the Super Bowl yesterday. This isn’t the first time Sapp has been in hot water with the law. Depending on how this turns out it would be hard to imagine he’ll be covering Super Bowl L for anyone next year.
UPDATE: NFL Network has suspended analyst Warren Sapp “indefinitely” pending the conclusion of the ongoing investigation. Sapp was also arrested for assault and there are reportedly two female victims who called the police and allegedly suffered minor injuries.
UPDATE: NFL Network has fired analyst Warren Sapp. Sapp got into an argument about monies owed for services rendered before the argument became physical in an Phoenix area hotel.
Alex Riethmiller, NFL Network spokesman told me: ‘Warren Sapp’s contract has been terminated and he no longer works for NFL Network.’
