Sione Netane announced his commitment to Colorado State football on “X” late Thursday night.

The 6-foot-5, 330-pound offensive lineman out of Mountain View, California took an official visit back in June and informed the staff of his intent to play for the Rams shortly after. The three-star prospect on 247Sports now made the decision public with a post of him rocking CSU’s infamous state pride uniforms.

In addition to CSU, Netane also has offers from Army, Air Force and Arizona State. The St. Francis High School standout obviously decided that joining “The MOB” under Bill Best and Co. was the best move for him though.

As you can see on his Hudl film, Netane has experience at left tackle, which makes sense given his size. If you’re that big in high school, you’re almost always going to be playing offensive tackle.

At CSU he’ll be in the interior, where he’ll fit nicely in CSU’s revamped offensive line room. A few years ago the Rams did not look like an FBS offensive line. That’s completely changed with the size and athleticism they now have in the program.

Netane moves well and is a big, strong individual. He joins 6-foot-4, 285-pound offensive lineman Kentez Allen (Georgia) and 6-foot-8, 325-pound offensive tackle Brayden Thompson (California) in CSU’s 2025 class.
