Commitments for the 2025 cycle are rolling in for Colorado State right now and the Rams are particularly hot in Texas.

After the Rams received a verbal from Lubbock-Cooper wide receiver Michael Dever on Sunday night, a highly explosive pass catcher with big-play ability, Trishtin Glass joined the growing group on Monday. Along with Antoine Martin Jr. out of Iowa Colony High School, the aforementioned make up CSU’s Texas trio of wide receivers for the 2025 class.

A 6-foot-4, 175-pound recruit out of Copperas Cove High School, Glass is a three-star composite prospect on 247Sports. He picked CSU over at least 15 other offers including Arizona State, Cal, Memphis, UNLV and Texas State.

Over the last couple of seasons Glass has been fairly consistent with his production. After flashing a little bit as a true freshman, he really broke out as a sophomore with 38 catches for 461 yards and six touchdowns. He then followed that up with 48 catches for 654 yards and seven touchdowns as a junior, according to his bio on “X”. The numbers on Maxpreps are a little different but that happens frequently.

Watching his highlights on Hudl, what really stands out to me is how elusive he is after the catch. For a guy with a lot of length, Glass is surprisingly agile and does a nice job of dodging tackles in the open field.

On the other hand, you might just want to throw it up and let him go get it, because he also does a great job of using his frame by boxing out defensive backs and catching balls at their highest point. There were a few poor cornerbacks in his highlight package that found out the hard way it was never really a 50-50 ball.

With his long strides he’s able to get up the field quickly and he definitely moves well for somebody that’s already 6-foot-4, 175 pounds before even graduating high school. There’s definitely a lot to like about what Glass brings to the table.

CSU’s 2025 class is now up to seven public commitments and more than half of them will be coming to Fort Collins by way of Texas. I expect the Rams to land a handful of players from California as they typically do. But it’s great to be able to go into talent-rich areas like Arizona and Texas.

Keep up with all of CSU’s latest recruiting news with our 2025 tracker.
