I haven’t followed the Avs much this season, which means I hadn’t followed BSN Denver. When did Dater join on? This is pretty cool.

Only a about a week ago – great to have him covering the Avs again..

Totally agree. Landy has been one of/their best player recently. Very strong mentally/will which I am not sure we can say the same about Duchene. I believe D is “fragile” up there… We need wingers as we pretty much only have Landy and Rantanen, not much else really. We will hopefully get one of the first two picks which are again centers. Jost is possibly coming next year, Mac, Duchene, JT, Sod, first pick (could start whims winger if need be), basically too many enters and no wingers. That is without even talking about the defence…
I wish Duchene would have played better and I am sure he will be better wherever he goes (if he is traded) but between the two, it is a no brainer in my mind, keep Landy.

Agreed – should have moved Duchene and kept ROR – Duchy is probably a great complementary player – but he’s never proven he can be a leader and I’ve seen way too many spin a rama moves that just end up in him turning the puck over.

Landeskog and Duchene are not the problem (well, maybe Duchene). The problem is Comeau, Tyutin, Soderberg, Goloubef, Wiercioch, Beauchemin, Borque, Colborne, Grigorenko, and Mitchell.

I am continually baffled as to why the organization would think of trading our best players and not getting rid of the dead weight.
