Summer is here and Colorado State’s 2025 class is growing by the week.

Although a lot of attention is focused on the transfer portal these days, the core of the roster is still built the old fashioned way. Through recruiting and developing high school players — a skill that Jay Norvell and Co. are well known for.

Keep up with all of the latest CSU recruiting news here. The page will be updated throughout the summer and fall as the Rams continue to add commits for the 2025 cycle.

Caden Branston (DL) | Liberty HS | Peoria, AZ.

Caden Branston was the first official commit for CSU, doing so on June 12. The 6-foot-3, 270-pound defensive lineman chose the Rams over offers from Arizona State, Washington State, Iowa State and Boston College.

Kentez Allen (OL) | Eagles Landing HS | McDonough, GA.

The first offensive line commit for the 2025 cycle, the 6-foot-4, 285-pound mountain of a man picked CSU over an offer to stay home and play for Georgia State. Watching him on the field, it’s easy to he brings a certain level of intensity that is rare at the high school level.

Cannon Valenzuela (LB) | Jacksboro HS | Jacksboro, TX.

Just like Jaden Landrum, Niko Lopez and Drew Rodriguez in previous cycles, Cannon Valenzuela will play linebacker at CSU after playing wide receiver and defensive back in high school. A four-sport star at Jacksboro High School, the 6-foot-1, 200-pound prospect brings a unique athletic background to Fort Collins.

Antoine Martin Jr. (WR) | Iowa Colony HS | Iowa Colony, TX.

Martin had a handful of P4 offers and quite a few quality G5 programs interested in his services, however, the speedster out of Texas decided that playing in the Air Raid under Jay Norvell at CSU was the right move for his future. A burner with 4.45 speed, Martin has next level athleticism and an impressive ability to take any touch to the house.

Jackson Murray (DL) | Horizon HS | Phoenix, AZ.

Murray had offers from multiple successful FCS teams. He also had offers from Army and Air Force. A 6-foot-1, 265-pound defensive lineman, Murray is not overwhelmingly big. He does have a relentless motor though. His production has been solid throughout his career as well. He has 93 total tackles and eight sacks in 25 career games.

Michael Dever (WR) | Lubbock-Cooper HS | Lubbock, TX.

Dever had offers throughout the state of Texas including an opportunity to play in the Big-12 at Texas Tech. He also had an offer to play for Wyoming. Instead he chose to take his blazing speed to Fort Collins where he will have an opportunity to be the next great receiver in the Air Raid.

Trishtin Glass (WR) | Copperas Cove HS | Copperas Cove, TX.

Glass is a 6-foot-4, 175-pound wide receiver with big-play ability. Not only is he the type of playmaker that can burn you over the top, but he’s got serious wiggle in the open field and is incredibly dangerous if you get the ball to him underneath. The three-star prospect picked CSU over a multitude of offers including Arizona State, Memphis and UNLV.

Brayden Thompson (OL) | Kettle Moraine HS | Kettle Moraine, WI.

Listed at 6-foot-8, 325 pounds, Thompson is a massive individual. The offensive tackle out of Wisconsin committed to the Rams over offers from Eastern Michigan and Northern Iowa. While he may not be the flashiest prospect in terms of his recruitment status, there is a lot to like about his frame.

Nathan Sutcliffe (P) | ProKick Australia | Victoria, Australia.

The first specialist to join the 2025 class, Sutcliffe announced his commitment to CSU on June 25. The Rams hope he can be the next great Aussie punter in Fort Collins. It’s worked out pretty well so far with Paddy Turner.

John Smith (S) | Sterling High School | Baytown, TX.

Smith, like Sutcliffe, also announced his commitment on June 25. The versatile athlete out of Texas does a little bit of everything at the high school level but is being recruited to play safety at CSU. He picked the Rams over offers from Missouri State and UTSA.
