You forgot the catch by Sanders who clearly turned and tucked the ball prior to the defense hitting it on the way down causing a fumble and then recovery all overturned by the refs ~ 40 yards lost. SMH. What a mess. Why weren’t we running the ball more in the second half? Jamaal 6.2 ypc, CJ 4.5 and instead we keep having Siemian throw into tightly covered WR’s? WTF. Poor Officiating, Uncharacteristicly disastrous INT’s by Siemian, Justin Simmons continues to whiff in coverage on occasion, Poor coaching. The Bills have a great defense, and we are only 3 games into a new offense with a new coaching staff and it really showed today. Lots of learning “opportunities” from this game – Here’s hoping that they come back angry against the Raiders.

First game play calls vs. LAC were head scratchers by McCoy, and we pulled that one out. Against the Cowboys, we had a great game plan and the play calls had the Cowboys running all over the field trying to keep up with the O. Now the Bills and more head scratchers. It seems like we’re throwing stuff against the wall to see if it sticks on odd weeks, then the next week (even) wake up and call good plays. i suspect against Oakland next week we will be OK. Sometimes you have to take what the defense gives you. I didn’t see that this weekend; running a couple plays over and over and expecting a better result, and lucky that it wasn’t 3 picks. The D played fine – I was pleased to see Charles getting confidence. He is going to be a great weapon if he gets into open space.

I think many fans may have underestimated having to play against a team that had our previous OC. He knows our guys well, so I’m sure he had plenty to say about how to play us. What surprises me is how much success teams seem to be having in the air, particularly scoring touchdowns. We’re stopping the run for the most part, and I’m excited about that. But is the NFZ suffering because of it?
